I bought my cover from here. https://modifymystang.com/collections/frontpage/products/2024-mustang-gt-dark-horse-5-0l-painted-engine-cover-with-black-letters It was higher than some places, but my experience with RPI Designs was not the greatest.
There is nothing pro or con that has been mentioned that would be considered substantiated evidence. The facts are, Ford has demonstrated to the Federal government that using this function reduces fuel usage under defined conditions. Anything other than that, meant that Ford would have to...
I am doing the Poler Run in two weeks and looking forward to it. I would like to do the Track event, but I had to give it up after a day on the track three years ago, due an eye issue that caused losing sight in one eye for three months due to the G-forces.
If it broke while the warranty is in place, then they should repair/replace it. This will be a good test of your dealership service. A good dealer will replace it with few questions. A bad dealership will try to get out of it by claiming you abused it.
Everyone is entitled to do any legal modification they want to their Mustang. I have made some changes (and will make more) on mine, but nothing that will affect the ability of a future owner to return it to as built. Other than special recognition given at some events for being a unique...
You buy a 60th anniversary model because it is unique. There are performance enhancements that would not take that away, but not to the of it being a dedicated track vehicle When you buy a car, it’s yours to modify as you desir, but it makes no sense to strip away its identity to make just...
The ones with the glass and recessed louvers were something that required lots of patience and skill to install. They were not installed at the factory. The only issue I have with the S650 is the gasket around the glass can spoil the effect desired with matching the body color.
Shop around. I had a very good shop detail mine and put a ceramic coating with a 5+ year warranty for under $1000. The hardest thing is to find a shop that deserves a good reputation. I would check who is recommended by your area Mustang clubs, especially MCA associated ones. If the best shop...
I installed them on my Mustang, but did not buy them from Ford, due to the higher price. There are cheaper ones out there, but I find them less reliable in fit and/or finish. As for being a blind spot, I could not see out the windows before installing them, so why bother? It is safer to use the...
I would suspect that hundreds of frustrated customers who could not get their cars would force ford to move the issue from an active recall, to a fix when happens issue.
I did the Tail over ten years ago, but did not have time to stop and be a tourist. I also wanted to do the skyway ridge scenic drive. I have to go to Chattanooga in late October, but I don’t know if the weather will be an issue.
Just got back from a long trip. The camera worked great, with top notched clarity. The program breaks it down into 5 min. Max segments. The only complaint is that I was on a road in western Maryland was taking a shortcut on a twisty little road that went over a one lane stone bridge. I have no...
Just got back from a 3500 mile trip where we toured the USAF museum at Wright-Patterson, attended the Mustang Club of America Grand National, toured the USMC National Museum, the Udvar-HazyMuseum at Dulles. Unfortunately, the ride back was marred when my BIL’s GT350 lost its A/C and I got a flu...
On the gas fill problem, sometimes right after the station pump filters are replaced, flow can increase enough to over power the neck flow capacity. Also, if the pump aerates too much, it can produce the same effect. Not a big deal IMHO.
The feds are investigating the Honda V6 (again) about...
I have no issues with EVs, but I did not like Ford calling it a Mustang. For 90% of drivers, they have potential but they are not to my requirements just now. And until our society breaks down and develops a viable nuclear energy policy that cannot be derailed by one or two people and a judge...
I have driven several of the early imported EVs and they were garbage. However, my friend bought a used Volt that he loves, but has bought an eight year old Toyota as his road car because it is much better on long trips. EVs have their place, but like all things mechanical, they have...
