  1. Glass cleaners

No matter what the brand, avoid ammonia cleaners. Newspaper is not as common anymore, so I use paper shop towels.
  2. Least Expensive Performance Upgrades?

I think I saw that Ford was going to make a GTD with all carbon fiber body panels and no paint to take the weight even lower.
  3. Gasoline Prices

Probably not the time to mention that I am paying less than $3.00/gal right now. Henry Ford was big on the farmers, so he made the Model T able to run on moonshine, when Rockefeller found out, he got legislation passed opposing it and invested heavily in the suffrage and temperance movements...
  4. Fitcamx Dash Cam

I am in the middle of installing mine. It has been a real pain trying to pull the plug out of the sensor. Any suggestions?
  5. Least Expensive Performance Upgrades?

It depends on what you want to accomplish. Drag racing, road racing, and street performance are different animals. Steeda and others are working on tune kits for the 7th gen Mustangs. Do some research and allocate your funds accordingly.
  6. Official VAPOR BLUE Mustang S650 Thread

My 60th Anniversary just finished getting ceramic coated.
  7. Missing MagneRide! Is it a big deal?

MagRide is great, but Ford has limited access to them since they were originally a GM product. GM does more with the programming in their cars, Because of the limits imposed on Ford's purchases they only use them in the performance vehicles and limit the programming to that aspect. Even so, the...
  8. Recall on 2025 GT/Order delay [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Great! Mine fits right in the middle of that timeline and I have a 3000 mile trip scheduled for the same time as the letter goes out.
  9. Stuff you want Ford to fix in the next software update

The digital speed should be an option for the center dash information. And when you start the car, it should default to the last screen. I really hate having the trip 1 screen as the default.
  10. The Sound Police Are Coming For Us ...Haha.

Another thing is the use of photopay toll collectors. I have no problems with toll roads, but woe is you if you pass through a state that does not offer compatibility with your pike pass. And now, they make it impossible for you to go through certain areas without paying. Oklahoma has been...
  11. Fed up with my kid cluttering the center console! Need door side storage box advice

I use the door cups and love them. They fit tight, are sturdy and very handy. I got a set for my 2019 and had a set waiting when my 2025 came in. They don’t hold much but they give you a place to put those small items that pop up in life.
  12. Active Exhaust - Meh?

I have been on the track where they have used active exhaust and it definitely makes a difference at high rpms. On my EcoBoost, I was very surprised at how much the noise level increased when I replaced the catalytic converter with a down pipe and flow through cat.
  13. Road Insanity

In many cases, there have been a large migration from a particular area and there have been significant increase in driving issues. It can be from another country or another state, but until everyone has acclimated, it is a potential issue. We often have issues when there are a large number of...
  14. Aftermarket CAI for S650 5.0

The dual TB setup was developed because they found that the single TB setup would not flow enough at higher rpm’s. Significant for those who push their engines to the max. Minor improvements can be made by tweaking the flow to reduce turbulence, but my personal opinion is that most CAIs are more...
  15. Road Insanity

I live in a college town, so I get the worse of both worlds. The retirees and the kids just out of high school and on their own for the first time. I think there is a need for required renewal training and maybe medical checks every so many years. Each generation has to learn different safety...
  16. Road Insanity

Divided four lane, coming out of a gas station driveway, I think not seeing me would indicate a problem with their seeing eye dog. More than likely, they were not paying attention to driving. Their phone, passengers, radio or the air between their ears; anything but driving
  17. My First Near-Horrible Accident – A Moment I’ll Never Forget

Don’t get me started on bison. They had bison at Ft. Riley when I was growing up there. As a prolific hiker, I would often wander around the hills. After going through a very strong barb wire fence, I soon realized my mistake. A 16ā€ boy can go through a 10ā€ wire gap if he is fast enough and...
  18. My First Near-Horrible Accident – A Moment I’ll Never Forget

There is no telling what learning experiences you can find. Try cruising in a town 50 miles from your grandparents, in their car, and getting suckered into peeling out at a light. The town cop just happened to be right behind you, and then it turns out he is an old fishing buddy of your...
  19. Road Insanity

I would have posted this in the ā€˜near death’ posting, but it was getting too far off track. Besides which, I doubt too many Mustang drivers have not had a ā€œcome to Jesusā€ moment or two. Less than two weeks on my GT and I was heading to OKC for an appointment. Just before the I-35 junction doing...
  20. Projector - Puddle light - fell out

Happened to both mirrors on my 2019. First time the dealer replaced the light. When it happened again, they replaced the whole mirror assembly on the assumption it the opening was slightly off. It still didn’t last long.
