  1. Mustang club of America

Since Ford has no real connection with MCA, buying a Mustang has no importance here. You do not have to own a Mustang to be a member of MCA. As a member of MCA, you received several benefits. You can save money on a new Ford purchase with the X-plan, you receive the Mustang Times with lots of...
  2. For everyone who hasn’t done the BCM Recall Remedy

I talked to my dealer and they had only one technician certified to do the recall. The question is how many dealers don't bother to have it done by someone trained on the repairs?
  3. How do you close your trunk? Without a handle . . .

That's why I keep microfiber towels handy. I do a lot of events and no matter what you try to tell people, fingerprints are a major hassle. Especially on the windows.
  4. How do you close your trunk? Without a handle . . .

    Why would we want to talk about something like this;
  5. How do you close your trunk? Without a handle . . .

I often carry a microfiber rag and use it.
  6. Mustang club of America

The local clubs are the heart and soul of the MCA. You can join a local MCA club without joining the MCA. Very few members of the clubs join the MCA, but if someone wants to be an officer of the local club, or attend a national event, they must become a MCA member. Joining a MCA club is not...

  8. Mustang club of America

While MCA is a large organization, it is mostly run by volunteers with a small full-time staff. I would call them to check because this is longer than normal for them.
  9. Don't get hit by a turkey doing 70mph!

Actually, wild Turkeys are very intelligent. It is the domesticated ones that have drowned watching rain fall. Wildlife can be a real PItA. Just paid $2000 today for repairs to my Flex caused by a squirrel spending a day building a nest under the hood. And I didn't even get to shoot it.
  10. What areas do you think PPF is essential on?

I did everything you were thinking about, but the roof. I had the headlights tinted and also had PPF installed on the bumper behind the trunk lid where it protects loading and unloading. If you do the roof, do the whole roof. I also did the mirrors and wish I did the fenders.
  11. All the Termi's are pretty much gone

Touch screens require eye contact to know where to press. Safety is better when you can flip a switch or turn a dial without having to take your eye off the traffic.
  12. Maybe the tripod should be banned

It's about some two bit punk thinking his sh*t don't stink and trying to avoid taking responsibility for his killing another person with his stupidity. And if you think he is not stupid, remember he was video tapping himself committing the crime. While I never got tired of watching Puff make a...
  13. Gas prices [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

My last fill up was $3.429 for 91 no ethanol. Not an average price for the area, but I like to check on prices when possible. I can remember times when things were much worse than they are now due to problems in the Middle East. Try being on I-44 in Missouri and not being able to find an open...
  14. Do you smoke inside your Mustang?

Smoke in my cars and cancer will not kill you. I will, however.
  15. One mod you love and wouldn't change. And one you kinda regret?

One of the first mods I do on every Mustang is to install rear louvers. Keeps the car cool and doesn’t restrict rear visibility. My worst mistake was the storage bin for behind the console. Didn’t fit and didn’t work.
  16. Why is This Car so Heavy?

It is no secret why the Mustang has gained weight and size. I hate the 71-73 models for how huge they were, but they were actually smaller than the S650. It the comparison with the before and after models that the 71-73 suffers from. Drive a first generation Mustang, and you will find minimal...
  17. This is getting silly... never thought I was buying an economy car

My 2019 PP EcoBoost gets fair mileage, but my GT averages 23.4 mpg .overall, and I had a fill up on a run from Dayton to Fredericksburg where I got 27.1. I had several times filled up with over 26 mpg
  18. Who lives in the coolest town in the USA. Where is everybody from?

Many a Mustang show has been held in Mustang by OMC. :like:
  19. Auto Start/Stop killed by EPA rules deregulation

AS/S on my 2017 F150 died years ago. It wasn't a bad thing, but I did not mourn its passing. On my GT, it is very unobtrusive and I don't mind it at all. From my F150, I learned how to deal with it and can see some advantage to it. If Ford were to keep it a part of a package, like the Premium...
  20. Black Interior temp question experiences

My first car had a black interior. Fifteen months stationed in the Arizona desert convinced me to never get a black interior again.
