  1. IS THE DARK HORSE ROAD RAGE BAIT?

I'd welcome advice... As a Brit, it was beaten into me to always move over after passing, a discipline I continue in the US. To my mind, move over means moving to the right most lane. However, I know of people who are dedicated members of the MLOC, Middle Lane Owners Club. She's like, I'm not...
  2. IS THE DARK HORSE ROAD RAGE BAIT?

Lots of good advice, and lots of similar circumstances. Something I noticed in the first few weeks is that the Mustang (and I have a poverty nite pony spec EcoBoost) can bring out the best and worst in people. People have stopped and looked, or said, "I like your car," not something I expected...
  3. A/C switches off over night

Yes. A decade ago I believe the EcoBoost was available, but I may be wrong. And now only the Coyote...
  4. A/C switches off over night

RIght? That bonnet goes on for miles and miles. And miles. Is that a bonnet under your windscreen or are you just pleased to see me? And no you can't look under it, the EcoBoost looks lonely in there. I'm guessing the new Puma, the electric one? That arrived after I emigrated. The Puma in the...
  5. A/C switches off over night

TL;DR - I think it tries to be smart but either needs better calibration or a humidity sensor, or both, It's been interesting to watch how mine behaves - the a/c feels like it overcools on a warm day, like "arctic blast" overcools, but when it's warm but not hot, if I tell the system to cool...
  6. TURN SIGNAL CLICK CLICK.....AAAAAAGGGGG

Nah it happens. Some sounds get right under my skin and once I hear them, I can't unhear them.
  7. A/C switches off over night

I'm a little late to the thread but I've noticed mine does a similar thing. The car is more decisive if she wants to use or not use the compressor. Sometimes, I'll be driving to work and the A/C has turned on or turned off, depending on the outside temperature. I keep mine in a (typical...
  8. ford performance tune

    That's... wow... hopefully quickly resolved...
  9. ford performance tune

...please imagine a meme of the original Naked Gun cast inching towards the edge of their seats.
  10. ValhallaNitePony's 2025 "None more black" Ecoboost

If you have Ford Points, you can get discounted or free black lockable nuts free at the Ford Accessories website. I have the same Nite Pony Package on a black EcoBoost and even the Ford app shows the chrome nuts, which makes me think, c'mon you did the badges, why not the wheel nuts... but...
  11. TURN SIGNAL CLICK CLICK.....AAAAAAGGGGG

My beautiful wife suffers from something similar but when she knows what's making the sound, she's better able to cope with it. The Mustang's horsey gallop sound is distinctive and I think because it's not a regular tick-tock but is a bit offbeat, she hears it more - but it might be louder in...
  12. Auxiliary oil temperature gauge values.

I haven't reached those areas yet! In my EcoBoost, straight up is 212⁰F. I'm working on being driven around so I can cross reference the numbers but meanwhile using ChatGPT / Wikipedia logic (everything you see and read is as simple as it seems haha) it looks like there might be four notches...
  13. Kaptain75329's 2026 Mustang GT (Photos)

That's beautiful! I especially like the interior.
  14. ford performance tune

The change in shift behavior is definitely interesting. I don't have any real issues with the Mustang - it's better than the six-speed in my Fusion - right until I drive my wife's 2011 RAV4 with the V6 and five-speed smooth-as-silk transmission.
  15. Introductions & Welcome Thread 👋

Congratulations! What color did you go for?
  16. OEM leather seats covers installed in my poverty pony (DIY)

Me too! I did the same but SWMBO reckoned "pure pony" didn't sound like I compromised!
  17. ford performance tune

I might have perhaps picked a more interesting commute than the shortest one! 😃😄
  18. ford performance tune

Too much variance? I enjoy the Mustang's point and squirt acceleration in the city, but I also enjoy its ability to effortlessly climb hills and maintain speed on a twisty, hilly road, without shifting down... in-gear acceleration feels usefully strong to pass slower traffic if I need to...
  19. ford performance tune

I really enjoyed the GT, but as you say, in the city it doesn't feel much different by the numbers. It sounds different, for sure. I'd suppose that traction is an issue under ~30mph, depending on the road, weather, and tires. Over ~60mph the GT felt like it walked all over the EcoBoost... In...
  20. ford performance tune

I'm happy to disagree, as I really wouldn't want a base model BMW, and in a smiles per mile contest the EcoBoost's main problem is that the GT exists. :) As for the Ford Performance Tune, going from 315hp, 350lbf ft to 350, 400lbf ft is going to help but probably not so much. With perfect runs...
