The red and black combination sounds fantastic! C'mon with those pictures. Welcome!
And I know what you mean about the manual. I went the EcoBoost route because I couldn't justify the V8 as it would be my everyday and I'm thankful I didn't have the choice of transmissions, as deciding between...
I bought* the Ford official one, and the Mustang is my daily driver, most everything is black (Shadow Black with the Nite Pony Package) and I live in Texas, so it's... Useful... To reduce the interior temperature. Or at least keep it hot enough to boil water. It's a good fit and so far has been...
I believed the base GT in 2025 has it, but not the EcoBoost. Luckily the rear window tint applied to my poverty pony EcoBoost goes a long way to mitigating needing to dim the rear view mirror.
But I'm curious how easy this is as there's a handy USB port integrated into the auto dimming rear...
So this morning I replied through bleary, allergy-crusty eyes, and a few hours later... It sucks. The way this happened. Another poster explained that they went through a similar experience but had lots of notice. I had notice when this happened to me and in some respects it was easier but in...
Yes. It's ironic that the EcoBoost makes more power precisely when one can't use it so much. Maybe?
I'm sure these engines are rated at the standard atmosphere (77°F I think, certain humidity and pressure), and as I understand most engines aren't supposed to make meaningfully more when it's...
It's the same in the UK, and has been for a while. And at least in the UK, the Coyote's output is reduced , which presumably is to prevent the island moving when a driver accelerates firmly and not to do with emissions.
The turbocharger whistles when building or reducing boost - it's more obvious when gently building power and once you're heard it, it's easy to hear it again, at least in my experience.
There are a few possible reasons, so in no particular order, and some of these might be tongue-in-cheek. :)
- it's a better sports car and a poorer muscle car
- you're from a different culture where you aren't used to V8s burbling past
- you like annoying GT owners
- 480hp (486hp, 500hp) is way...
It sounds like the gap between plastic parts, on mine it was just below the screen on the right hand side. Holding the dashboard here fixed it and it went away by itself, weird. But it SOUNDED like it was from somewhere else.
I also have a very annoying plasticy rattle from the trunk carpet...
