Yeah. Imagine being the genius who designed it. Being all proud of that amazing design? Why not just have a screw? Like a plastic screw. But noooo. lol. 😆
I drove my old mustang for 17 years. Parked it on the street with all the snow/salt and had no rust issues at all. I only started to get concerned after the "aerodynamic holes" in the fender liners fiasco. Prior to that the thought of doing anything to prevent rust never crossed my mind.
I wound up taking gorilla glue and re-attaching it again. It got loose since October. It doesn't want to stay in place at all. It's as frustrating as those old plastic tabs for the trunk in in my '07 that got loose all the time, until I glued them in place.
I went out of my way to find a car with a manual to replace my totalled '07... because they are going extinct and afaik a proper sports car must be manual. I know today the automatic transmission is more efficient, and faster.

I had bought it on for ‘07 Mustang. In the end it made no difference, there were lots of hidden costs and service fees for all the repairs I had to have made. It would have been cheaper if I went to my local mechanic and paid out of pocket without any extended warranty.
ahh, the environment-friendly b.s. strikes again. Next they will be making hoses out of string cheese...
I ordered this item. Anybody know of a safe place to stick this onto, so that it wouldn't get into the belts/fan? I was thinking on top of the battery?
I don't know anybody who owns a Jaguar. It's out of reach for most people that surround me. Let them go woke and see what happens. It's no longer 2020, where all the companies were singing in unison the same tune about systemic oppression, gender inequities, climate change. For most ordinary...
There are various sensors in your car. Sometimes these sensors become obstructed. I get this when it’s dark, it rains/snows sometimes. It could be as simple as you need to wipe your windshield.
