Maybe yes.. but I can't find a reason of why it returns and then it goes away again.. also I'm not sure that everyone that is experiencing this "bug" has changed anything with ForScan.
I've noticed something, when it reprised I had less than 80Km of fuel, it's when the dashboard will start to warn you about the "low" fuel. It could be that the "dum dum dum" kicks in because of that, overriding the "beep beep". I will test later today filling the tank.
I don't know, because I didn't paid attention to it until I read this thread. Approximately, it's about a month I was having the "beep beep" and today the "duuum duuum" returned at its first start (and the restarts after it for the whole day). Now that I know about it, I will surely notice...
It didn't ruined it, but having a "beep beep" when I starting it, will always turn my head to look for an "error" on the dashboard. At this point I prefer to have nothing. :)
I confirm it doesn't play anymore on start, it does a "beep beep". But I can hear the sound on certain action, like in exampling engaging the hadnbrake two times, unless that dump dump is another sound.
No more (it did in the past), but I don't know when it happened (as I didn't paid attention), nor I remember when it was playing.
I will test later today... when it is supposed to be played exactly? At the start? When the dashboard starts?
It's not, it's how the "registration" is performed in US vs EU. The difference in HP at the wheel isn't appreciable. This has been noted with the S550, imported VS non-imported, in some configuration, with different HPs "on the paper" delivering almost the same power when measured on the dyno...
Mine now does a "beep" when starting, and every time I was checking for a "warning" on the display to see what it's trying to "tell" me... now I've figured that it was the former HB. :bandit:
Now that I remember, for me it was the previous one (S550), didn't checked with the DH (S650), but I believe the procedure is similar.
So when I changed my wheel, it needed few rotations/meters/Kms to recognize the sensor and show the correct pressure, but last time it didn't want to work on my...
There's an option in the settings to reset it. I had to use it on mine last time, coz the sensor didn't want to "auto-learn". I don't remember where it was, but pretty easy to find, along with the oil reset if I'm not wrong.
I use full auto (D) only for relaxed driving, for anything else (spirited driving, track, etc.) I use "M", much more predictable and you have full control of the gears, pretty like driving in manual, but with the advantage of a fast gear change. For the exact reason that you said: you don't want...
Indeed, but for some reason, certain recalls that hits the US (maybe because the law is more strict there) doesn't hit the EU, or at least they are not mandatory, so the "issue" is fixed only if there's a problem (not for everything.. depending of what the local law consider a safety issue or...
No, I was talking about the recall rules (or law). So a recall in NA, may be different in EU (and may hit the EU customers later.. or never.. according to the local law).
Fuel efficiency and other benefits "on paper" (I say on paper coz data usually doesn't match with what you'll experience in the real world). With a manual gearbox you would get crazy to manage 10 gears, but with an auto they'll get the opportunity and so they (Ford and GM) did it.
There's lag, unless you're driving a F1. :)
But it's less than that mentioned "good one second", so I've mentioned 0.3s, however I never measured that. If you've ever tried a "sport car" (ie: Porsche) you will feel what's "instant", but either an Audi is faster.
People are maybe confused by the...
