  1. Oil Catch Cans

I have a new GT, with only a tad over 3,000 kms on it. I added a catch can as soon as I got it and haven’t bothered looking in it since, because I don’t track it either. The timing of your question is perfect as I just happened to check it last evening and be damned; there’s oil in it. I do...
  2. Perfect use of that gap between displays…

Apple can be a pain at times. I prefer Alexa. She’s easier to get along with.
  3. Perfect use of that gap between displays…

I use both but for different things, Siri reads Email and text for me while Alexa opens my garage door and looks after my house. I tried getting Siri to do the house stuff but she’s kinda dumb at that.
  4. Perfect use of that gap between displays…

This now what mine looks like. Ford cut me off from using Alexa so now I just use my phone Instead. Not paying $16/month….
  5. Perfect use of that gap between displays…

    Cool, Thanks… just bought one
  6. Perfect use of that gap between displays…

    Next obvious question: from where?
  7. how do you control yourself from speeding?

I always bring my wife along. She nags me to death if I go to fast…. It works.
  8. Oil Catch Cans

I did in fact purchase and install the passenger side just to be safe. Haven’t had it long enough to see any oil in it yet but I’ll keep checking.
  9. Oil Catch Cans

Yes as I had said previously in an answer to this it’s probably other factors. We’ve had alot of rain and heat meaning more humidity. That appears to be the case as my fuel economy is now improving back to where it was now that the humidity has left.
  10. Oil Catch Cans

I see many comments on the web saying it can, however in my own case after thinking about it we are having lots or rain, heat and high humidity and I now think that may be more likely the reason. (mouth before brain)
  11. Oil Catch Cans

In my own case adding a catch can made my fuel economy worse. 8.1L/100kms to 8.5L/100kms. It’s the only mod done so far.
  12. Explain the 1,000 mi oil change to me

The GT has 15 and 4 clips but it will end up with a door when I do my first oil change. I’m not doing 15 screws every change. Ford needs their head examined.
  13. GT vs Dark Horse

GT 14 less hp…. DH 122lb more weight. Make a diff??? also the AT is faster and more fuel efficient.
  14. GT vs Dark Horse

The GT is a great choice. I personally don’t get the love for the Dark Horse. I always see it in dark grey a colour to dull for me. Just remember it’s only 14 more hp than a GT with the adjustable exhaust but weight 122 more lbs. hmmm
  15. Explain the 1,000 mi oil change to me

Yes I can imagine. They never seem to think of the mechanics who have to work on these things. I was an aircraft mechanic and I lost count of the times I wanted to strangle an engineer.
  16. Explain the 1,000 mi oil change to me

Jes’ You'd think Ford would develop a brain and put in a hatch for the filter like every Japanese manufacturer has.
  17. Explain the 1,000 mi oil change to me

Do you still have to remove 15 screws and 4 clips on the body pan to do an oil change? WTH..!
  18. Warm up or Start up and Go?

What you are doing is exactly what I do in the winter. Then drive gently until the drivetrain warms up. In the summer I start and go, but again drive gently until everything warms up.
  19. Challenger or S650

The ratings for Ford have gone up 17 points this year according to JDP & CR much higher than either GM or Chrysler but none here equal the likes of Toyota or Honda but we all make our choices and have to live with them.
  20. Challenger or S650

Well, for my 2 cents I wouldn’t buy a Stellantis anything. They are constantly on the most unreliable list, Dodge, Fiat. Alpha, Jeep. I wonder how many ACTUALLY do vehicle research before buying one. I’ll bet no one. I wonder if those who purchased a Dodge Ram truck looked at the average ongoing...
