  1. One of the most underrated things I added to my Mustang

I've done this in the past but not recently. I do keep all receipts in a file, though.
  2. S650 Mid Cycle Refresh

True, the S550 was refreshed after 3 years, but it ended up being a 9 year run. It wouldn't surprise me if Ford waited another year.
  3. To stripe or not to stripe...?

My wife always says that about bright colored cars. Grabber blue is a color that pops by itself, so I doubt stripes would make a difference. Personally, I think the "cop magnet" concept is overrated.
  4. Staggered tires on 2025 GT?

You can probably go as wide as 275. As an example, below are specs for a Michelin Pilot Sport 4s in 275/40r19. The range of rim widths is 9-11 for that tire. Your stock wheels are probably 8.5 or 9 inches wide. A 275 isn't a whole lot wider, and technically a 275 in that tire is too wide for 8.5...
  5. This is getting silly... never thought I was buying an economy car

My '19 GT with 10 speed and 3.15 axle ratio regularly got 25-26 mpg on the highway, occasionally 27-28. My '26 with performance pack, 10 speed, and 3.55 ratio only got 20.2 mph on a recent trip. I knew the lower rear end ratio would make a difference, but I didn't expect it to be that much. The...
  6. To stripe or not to stripe...?

I think black accents look great with colors like grabber blue and race red. If there's such a thing as more of a solid black stripe that goes where the RTR stripes used to be, I think it would look good. I like super snake stripes on S650s, but I would do a black one on grabber blue.
  7. Official Adriatic Blue Metallic Mustang S650 Thread

A group of us from DFW went down and drove the "3 Twisted Sisters" in Central Texas over the weekend. I made the trip several times in my '19 but this was the first time in the S650.
  8. Street Suspension Setup Review (Ford Performance + Steeda)

I personally haven't used them but have heard positive things from other Mustang owners. Two other good options in DFW are DSG Performance and Precision Alignment and Auto . Precision can do the alignment after installing suspension parts, and he (Chris) knows what he's doing.
  9. One mod you love and wouldn't change. And one you kinda regret?

You need to get one of those aftermarket shift knobs that burns your hand when the car sits in the hot sun. It would give this some legit functionality. :)
  10. Taller Tires & Cruise Control

These two are nearly the same and don't have issues. Both coming from stock PP wheels. Maybe 20s aren't off the table for me after all. 😁 @agreywolfe 20x10 fronts, 285/35 20x11 rears, 315/35 @goodlettjr 20x10 fronts, 275/35 20x11 rears, 315/35
  11. Taller Tires & Cruise Control

Glad you chimed in! The more examples of instances where problems occurred and did not occur the better. Electrical issues wouldn't explain why everything works normal again for @Ken H. when he puts his stock setup back on.
  12. Taller Tires & Cruise Control

That's quite possible. I don't know what the precise angle change would be, but the changes for both the front and rear sizes are reasonably close. There shouldn't be a large change in the angle.
  13. One mod you love and wouldn't change. And one you kinda regret?

Ah, I forgot to mention I have a mirror mount and tap on order. Should have it in a few days.
  14. Taller Tires & Cruise Control

Originally I wanted to go with either 20x10 or 19x10 square, but this has me thinking about 19x10 with 285/35 front and 19x11 with 305/35 rear. I would have to live with the smaller selection of tires in 305/35, higher cost, and the inability to rotate. On the positive side, wider tires in...
  15. One mod you love and wouldn't change. And one you kinda regret?

I haven't done any mods yet but I have a RAH Performance HX pipe that will be installed soon. A minor thing is 3D floor mats. Also had them on my S550 and they're nice.
  16. Official Adriatic Blue Metallic Mustang S650 Thread

That looks great! I struggled with whether or not to order the bronze package because I wasn't sure if I'd like it with Adriatic Blue. I'm happy with the gray PP wheels but I think I would have been happy with the bronze, too.
  17. Street Suspension Setup Review (Ford Performance + Steeda)

Try AAC Auto Center in Arlington. They work with performance cars. They did a good job painting the front bumper of my S550. https://share.google/1JNzApDWz6NU21rac This is their Facebook page. They have posts showing some of their work. https://www.facebook.com/share/1C7VGoZXt7/
  18. Street Suspension Setup Review (Ford Performance + Steeda)

Very nice. It reminds me of what I did to my S550, which was not a performance pack car. I used a different assortment of parts (Bilstein dampers, BMR springs and cradle lockout kit, GT350 sway bars, Ford Performance toe links, Steeda wheels, etc.), but my objectives and results were very...
  19. Taller Tires & Cruise Control

Factory setups vary in that regard. My performance package is like yours, 255/40 front, 275/40 rear, but many factory setups are square with the front and rear diameters the same. It would be interesting to know if the camera angles are actually calibrated differently at the factory for...
  20. Spring Road Trip

The group is called DFWs550s but S650s are completely welcome. They're really not that different. I just bought an S650 in December to replace my 2019. We're doing a day cruise later in the month. https://www.facebook.com/share/1BuVAWWf8w/
