What about Five Star Ford of Dallas? They seem quite enthusiast oriented with the cars they have in the showroom and their collection upstairs. I've only had oil changes done there but they are the first place I would inquire about a supercharger install.
Impossible to "fix" (i.e. cure a defect), but yes of course he could modify it. Perhaps California should simply prohibit the sale of vehicles capable of being "too loud" rather than harassing owners to modify them.
Finally something we agree on. :) But I don't think I could trust the cops...
By the time Ford introduces the next generation, the Mustang will be overdue for a new platform. The Corvette E-ray is about 300 pounds heavier than the Stingray. That seems reasonable for the performance upgrade. Look how heavy the GTD is.
Agree a hybrid like the E-ray wouldn't be the base...
My thought was simply that the sound will be louder 19 inches away vs. the distances people typically are from cars in normal situations. No surprise about California's procedure. That's where a Hyundai Elantra N owner was ticketed and required to "fix" his bone stock car.
I have a Roush H-pipe, not Steeda, but I would expect similar results. The active exhaust is definitely louder in all modes vs. the stock resonator. It's very noticeable when accelerating and putting a load on the engine. What I really like, though, it's not louder when cruising along at low...
Automaker decisions to scale back EVs and the lack of EV infrastructure are irrelevant to hybrid vehicles. The Corvette E-ray and ZR1X are impressive performing hybrids.
However, because of the additional cost I doubt the base Mustang GT will be a hybrid. It wouldn't surprise me, though, if...
I was never 100% sold on the front end of the 2018-23 S550 (even though I owned one, lol), but I think the GT350 and Mach 1 are the two best looking S550s. I like the S650 front end too, though, so it's all good. :)
I ordered from Granger on 9/15/25. Exactly one month later, 10/15, I received the email from Ford that the car was scheduled for production. The car was built on 12/8 and arrived at the dealership on 12/19. So just a little over 3 months.
Roush H-pipe installed with the OEM active exhaust. Love it! Not only did it make every mode louder, which I expected, but I like the tone better, too. That is a bonus!
That price is very attractive for flow formed wheels. Especially compared to Modern Muscle and Project 6gr. I've never heard of Factory Reproductions, though.
Edit: As for color, I like gunmetal or bronze wheels on black cars. But it's your car and everyone has preferences.
If a new platform does come in 2030 I agree any refresh before then would be minimal. However, cost cutting might also mean pushing a new platform further back. If the S650 runs as long as the S550 did or longer, I would expect Ford to do a fairly significant refresh (at least to the exterior...
