not trying to stir anything. i dont think Ford will bring a part number. it looks to me like enough people complained about our missing fender liners that now, when they cut that section out for access, they simply screw the cut pieces back in place after they're done with the hole. this may be...
i got busted by the wife as well (who is the one that will not let me ride any more). she overheard my storytelling with my brother over the phone. i feel ya... but if i was on that r6 i might be dead now...
last night had a crotch rocket RIGHT on my bumper. turned to tail me on a winding country road (off a bigger divided 4 lane) so i dropped to second and left him on a couple twisties. he came back in a straight and blew past so i backed off (not ever tailing a bike). we played for a bit and shook...
I think only clearance issues in the front for loading and unloading. my car was not set up at the dealer did it myself. i did not have blocks in the back. kind of weird it's only on one side though
reminds me of one of my customers boat engines. somebody had replaced short block, long block, who knows. wrong dipstick tube. had to suck all the oil out fill it to capacity and then use a Dremel tool to make new hashes on his dipstick until I finally convinced him to let me replace it. Ford...
who knows. I don't think Ford would intentionally lower the recommended capacity, knowing it may cause warranty issues. the only thing I could figure is maybe the lesser capacity is intended to lower the oil level in relation to the crankshaft to avoid aeration issues in the oil (and mabe...
full 10 quarts of oil on change only got me ro the bottom dot cold. maybe 9.5 would work in gt without oil cooler but seems low for dark horse. 10.5 gets toward comfort zone
this is one of the things that scares me also. electronic power steering, electronic parking brake, electronic power assist brakes. there's got to be something in place right? car manufacturers been doing this for a while. I still leave it in first gear when parked though just in case
also I do agree that this car will only go as fast as it wants. sometimes seems quicker, sometimes it seems like it's holding back. but it never feels as fast as you're going. it's kind of refined power but there's like a little guardian angel that sometimes says "nah not right now"
