I would lean towards it being the belt, or a pully, possibly a bearing being cold and warming up as the engine runs. My motorcycle (belt driven rear wheel) makes the same sound on acceleration on sub 40 degree Fahrenheit days until I ride a mile or three and everything warms up.
I have my dashcam plugged into the USB behind the mirror, which also stays on for 2 hours or so. I have yet to have my battery drain so far that it would not start the car. The computer will power down some of the modules if the battery drops too low, and you will see a notification in the...
That another thing that Sync could do better. I use Android Auto for nav and music (Spotify). I haven't set up Alexa yet. When I use the Sync voice commands, it switches the entire screen to the Sync voice screen, then switches back to AA. It would work better if it just put a pop-up along the...
I had a mini-van a couple years back. Chrysler Grand Caravan with the 2.7L turbodiesel and a 5 speed. Slow, but fun, and 40+MPG.
Innovation is the name of the game in the automotive world, which is why there are rumors of a 4-door Mustang coming to market at some point.
...some thoughts on how the S650 could have been improved:
1) Add a button to move both of the rear seats fully forward to aid in the ingress and egress of rear seat passengers. I set the 3rd memory button to move the driver's seat all the way forward, but the left rear passenger has to wait...

It gets my vote for, "Task that should have been easier than it was." To preface, I work on cars, airplanes, helicopters, etc. I've performed much more difficult tasks in tighter spaces. All of the install videos said it was a simple procedure:

That brings up a really good question. Is there a way to read the actual patch notes, i.e. the specifics that were addressed, or are we stuck with, "we fixed some things, your car works more gooder now"?
There's a whole thread on OTA updates. They can take a hot minute to catch up once you purchase the car. I bought mine about 2 months ago, and I just got 10.1.0 yesterday.
Same, but doing a forced restart by holding the right arrow and volume down button for 10 seconds fixed it. To add to this, isn't Sync update 10.1.0 supposed to address this issue? It was downloaded to my car today.
I have a manual GT. As such, there is no auto start/stop on my engine, and the button is blank. Is there a way to repurpose that button to do anything? Ejecto-seato, cuz?
My GT Premium with the 401A package and 6-speed manual has ACC. I don't even have to touch the gas to up- or downshift while it is slowing down or speeding up.
Well damn... that might have fixed the issue that I am having. Sync will randomly drop my phone from the wifi. The only way to reconnect it is to turn the wifi on the phone off, turn the bluetooth on the phone off and back on, and wait for Sync to reconnect to the phone.
