Do you actually use the back seats? I'm so long legged that there's only about 3" between the driver's seat back and the rear seat cushion!

Not yet and likely never for a human.

The next mod to arrive was the Ikon Motorsports "Front Valance Lip for Ford Mustang Dark Horse Handling Package 2024-2026". I had a coupon so it was $230 shipped vs Ford's ~$1,000 shipped.

I was initially very impressed by the front splitter itself. It's all 1 piece and the fit was great. Looks very nice. However, the under extension piece was an absolute BEAR to get in. It took an extra set of hands and 4 plastic trim tools to help wedge it in. It took a very long time and the holes simply didn't ever line up well, but I did get all the bolts back in except for one.

Speaking of bolts, you will need an extra ~16 of them and washers, which are not included from Ikon. I went to 3 auto parts stores and 2 hardware stores before improvising with what is in the photo from Menards. I don't know if you can get a set of stock bolts from Ford, but if you can, go for it. I just didn't know what I didn't know with this kit.

I also had to use a Dremel to cut off about 5 threads from the stock bolts that I used along the front edge of the under piece along the splitter itself. They are a little too long and will raise up the plastic in the splitter if you try to tighten them all the way. Be warned!

Overall, it looks really good and for the price, I'm satisfied.

Excuse the dirty car in the photos. I'm waiting to get all my appearance mods done before taking it in for PPF and ceramic.

The next thing to arrive were the MP Concepts Door Hinge Covers. Nothing huge again, but just gives it a cleaner look.

These mats are nice. I am looking to get some new Mats. Where did you purchase these? Also I see you have an auto, do you feel these mats was slip with a manual? I see the dead pedal is covered. I was wondering abou heel/toe operation and how it would affect this style of mats.

Thanks! They seem to fit well and not slip, at least in my experience. There are also some velcro and plastic clips that come with them to make it more secure. I just used 1 clip on each mat and it seems great. You could use more clips and/or the velcro if needed.

I bought them on Amazon.

I finished up the subwoofer install today. My goal here was just to replace the garbage stock sub with something better, do it easily, and not mess with wiring, amp(s), ANC, ESE, etc., yet (if ever).

The bass is definitely punchier and deeper, but this system is still weak and disappointing. The good thing is, I didn't buy this car to play the radio often, the engine is the soundtrack.

Parts used:
- DD Audio SW10-D4 10" Dual 4-Ohm 600W High Tuned Subwoofer
- RAH Performance B&O Subwoofer Adapter
- RED WOLF Door Speaker Wiring Harness Adapter 2 PCS Part #LBX-RAM-2PC
- Butyl Tape
- Polyfill

As I typed in one of the subwoofer install threads, I recommend skipping the RAH Performance B&O Subwoofer Adapter unless you need some extra depth for your sub to fit in the stock box. It created more issues than it solved and cost more time/money than just doing the swap the way everyone else has shown.

Also, I went for a cruise while the sub was completely out and noticed zero difference in my exhaust noise from the interior. I thought the noise was pumped in via the sound system? Does it not use the sub or is ESE turned off in 2026 Dark Horses and/or cars with active exhaust?

Driving my wife around to run errands today and playing some bass heavy music while she runs into stores. Yeah, there is a MASSIVE difference from the stock sub, LOL.
