So I finally installed Steeda X-pipe on my active exhaust that already had Ford Performance sport axle back.

I did installation on my own underneath the car, never took the exhaust out. I used rhino racing ramps, jack, jack stand, jack stand pads and sawzall.

I want to add that before x pipe when i had only ford performance mufflers, there was no difference between normal sport and track mode. Only noticeable difference was between quiet and rest of the modes.

Now, after X pipe, every mode sounds different, which i just love. There is also 0 drone on highway. My advice is to buy better clamps from Steeda, because the ones that came with the x pipe were pretty bad. I took videos with external microphone of warm start, revs, and while driving from the cabin. It does sound louder in person but this mic is much closer than videos with the phone.

Also I would like to add that the car is really quiet in normal mode with closed exhaust.

Anyway im super happy with the result. Enjoy.

I had the Steeda XPipe installed on my DH before I went to my Kooks headers. It did sound good with the stock setup.

I removed it when I went to the headers and the 3' pipe because It would be super loud and raspy without the CATS. I went with the Corsa resonated double H, which nailed the sound I wanted. I am still using the Ford active exhaust out back.

I actually like x pipe sound more then H. But also i think steeda x and h pipe are same dimensions so if i ever wanted i can easily swap them. I dont think i will ever put headers on my car, its just to loud for my taste.
