Special ordered and picked up almost a month ago. Its now "mod time". Not planning to do much but I do want to add a stage 1 whipple. Im also planning to do the steeda STH kit at least. Who would be best to have the whipple installed? Ive reached out to multiple local dealers and performance shops but the dealers are looking at 3-4k just for install. Any recommendations, particularly in the Southeast? Im in middle GA. Anyone have Steeda do their install? Thanks in advance.

Ford Dealership did mine. Yes, there are a ton of aftermarket tuners out there who could probably get you more juice... I think MAP in England has a "Stage 1.5" kit which I think is just a more aggressive tune for cars with a Stage 1 + Headers.

HOWEVER, if you want the Whipple/Ford Performance warranty then have a dealership do it. Whenever something goes wrong with the car, the tune, the warranty overwrites blah blah blah it goes back to Ford where I simply hand them the keys and say "Fix it" and it gets done.

Ya I lean toward the dealer for ease of future maintenance/repair. Problem I have is I dont completely trust my local dealer to do the install based on the buying experience. The quote Ive got from one of large Ford dealers in the state want to charge 14.5k. I could be wrong but that seems fairly high? No? Ive gotta plead ignorance on this.

That is totally fair... I actually drove 45 minutes out of my city to a dealership that had a good reputation for installing Superchargers and had a YouTube Video out showing them install on a GT. The combination between the rating/reviews and the video is what sold me and I haven't regretted it since. Blackstock has taken good care of me.
