I just got my new 2026. I have always carried a Gorilla brand breaker bar with a 13/16ths socket to remove my lug nuts, if I need to remove a wheel while on the road. I got McGard locking lug nuts and the related McGard "key" socket as part of the factory optional Anti-Theft Package. When I was putting my breaker bar in the trunk of my new car, I decided to check to confirm that the 13/16ths socket that fits my lug nuts also fits the McGard "key" socket for the locking lug nuts. It does NOT. It takes a (larger) 21mm socket. If I hadn't checked in advance, I would have found myself being able to remove the four factory lug nuts from each wheel, but not the locking lug nuts. I know many of you immediately replace your factory lug nuts with aftermarket ones, but you may still want to be sure that you have the sockets you may need if you have wheel locks.
