This is what happens when auto makers and others rely to quickly on AI. I heard Ford, after they looked into their horrendous Recall Issues, found AI being a major culprit and has rehired some of their layed off experienced workers, managers, etc.

I just turned my updates to off. Being boosted I don’t want something shitty to happen. I don’t have that recall in my app but better safe than sorry

I scheduled the update with the dealer. Do I need to flash the car back to stock before they do this? Car has a Ford whipple on it with the whipple tune. Im going to ask them before they do it but figured I would ask here first

I got my letter for it today. It's for the Intake Air temperature sensor.

No parts available yet

Here we are in 2026 and Ford can't figure out IAT sensors, or how to have the ECU handle it not working.

Glad quality is job #1 at ford again.
Hmm, mine is a software update.

Wonder why they can’t do it over the air.

For now, not bringing it in. Low trust in dealership services.

I still have the water intrusion BCM module that they’ll end up doing as well, which I don’t want done.

One of my tuning customers was stranded last night with a tank full of E85 and a mysterious check engine light...

Car auto updated over night and next day car would barely run. We flashed back his E85 tune and DISABLED auto update and hes back to good. Im sure today Im going to get a rash of calls for this...

But this recall doesn’t appear to be OTA. So confused on this one.

I wonder if that customer can look at the app (or screen) and see what update that was.
