Nice. If you havent already you can reach out to ford performance support chat with the sales code and order # and they may be able to tell you more. Especially if its delayedThats awesome! I ordered a week earlier than you so hopefully I hear something soon as well.
You should pay the price you and dealer signed on the sales agreement at the time the car was ordered. You should NOT have to pay the $500. increase after the date you signed the sales agreement and FORD accepted the order. Now things could have changed lets here what other have to say about this.....Window sticker active! Blend date of 14 July. Almost there!
Side note: The sticker price is a little over 500 more than what was sent in. The nite pony package went up over the last few months apparently. Anyone have any issues with dealers sticking to the agreed upon price?
Don't shoot the messanger but don't want to be a Danny Downer. In order to guarantee the agreed out the door final price you must have a signed sales contract agreement with both your and the sales MANAGER's signature. Deposit depends upon the dealer and a deposit is not necessary if the dealer does not ask for one. This contract must, Dealer and your name and address, date of order/deposit, amount of deposit, and list specifics of the car model numbers (no VIN yet), and all its options and prices including tax, and other dealer costs (if they apply), so you have an Out of the Door cost. Does NOT have to have extended warranty or few other minor things. I think you will find you verbal agreement is not binding, and if the dealer does honor it, you got an exceptional dealer. But lets hear with others have to say....I asked the salesman and that's what he's thinking as well. I didnt sign anything or put a deposit down but I expect them to honor what was agreed upon.

Ya very similar to my experience minus the repeat. i get the feeling this is how it's gonna work out. While he's correct, if it isn't in writing there's nothing legally binding. However, this dealer works with military VERY often (being in a mil town), its x plan, and it's a cash deal. It took more time to get one item corrected on the build sheet than we spent talking #s. When it's right, it's right ya know?perhaps! Perhaps NOT! So much depends upon the dealer. And your attitude.
Contrary to this post, my dealer made the exact deal to which we had agreed. Car ordered. No deposit. No signatures. Just an agreement on what I wanted and the agreed-to price, which was at 4% below invoice at the time we made the agreement.
Repeat customer with this dealer. Car built and delivered at the agreed price.
Thanks. Ill be fine either way. I could put that money elsewhere and not blink an eye. I do find the universal disdain of dealerships to be hilarious though. Always wondered where they fit in the hierarchy of distrust.I hope all of you are right, but I still do not trust dealers. HOWEVER, the dealer I bought my car from was great and all promises and agreements were kept. Support during build and transport was great as my salesperson, Jason, was very responsive and accurate. I prepare for the worse and hope for the best. Hope you will be ok....
