Glad you "just smile" at high gas prices. Capitalistic greed is very charming. My wife & I are both involved in the Oil & Gas industry here in Alberta. When prices go up, we just smile. It means our employers are busy, work is endless and money flows free. I’ve seen 94 as high as $2 per litre. It is what it is. I still burn 94 in the half tons too. You gotta pay to play.
I didn’t mean to come across as a dick. I understand there are real people hurting. I didn’t mean to offend. Was just offering an opinion from the other side of the coin. I’ll stick to car photos.Glad you "just smile" at high gas prices. Capitalistic greed is very charming.
What happened to "no politics?"Glad you "just smile" at high gas prices. Capitalistic greed is very charming.

EV sales up hugely in the UK as a result of the 'not war'
I never look at the price of gas and my 68 Amc Amx needs racing fuel and I drive it all the time. I can see that priorities can put a strain on buying gas. But I have an addiction to fast cars and after getting divorced several years ago. And my ex wife gets no alimony we had one child so child support ended last year. So 800.00 back in my pocket a month i am also been retired since 2008. I speak to car guys in Canada and a lot of them will cross the border into the USA to buy gas. And of course clothes because it's cheaper. I speak to another friend in Milan, Italy he has a Shelby he is always out with large group of Shelby and mustang owners. I am 1st generation Italian and they do it right out there with a big fest. But again gas is super expensive out there. But the cost of living is way cheaper than the USA. I unfortunately canceled my trip to Italy due to the crime. I was going to go to Modena where Lamborghini, paging, Ferrari but they also had a terrorist attack in the town. I know people will say it shouldn't stop me from going. But I am retired NYPD cop the biggest reason I became a cop was that I am always in the right place at the wrong time.Jeez, talk about oil shocks.
98 is now $NZ3.55 litre and 95 is $NZ2.85. That's $US7.82 and $6.28 for a US gallon.
Still not stopping me from driving.
But our pathetic media are talking about carless days as in the late 70's when you could not drive one day a week.
Actually carless days were great for me. Most cops chose Wednesday as we never had Wednesdays rostered off. And I used the company bike for work.
I live in north Carolina and I have never looked at gas prices even when I lived in NYC. I always had fast cars 2 usually and it's an addiction soJeez, talk about oil shocks.

EV are great till you have to charge up especially if you are on a trip. If you don't own a house or live in a development where you can plug in. Then you have to go to a charging station and I have seen some nightmares.Of course those with EV's don't have to pay to play!
