I know I come off as a clown but I'm actually a no-nonsense businessman which is why I can spend all my time screwing around on the forums, feeding the birds in the yard and taking naps.

So anyway this probably violates a forum rule but I'll tell you about my latest venture in the photonics computing sector. The ticker is QCLS and through a combination of being in a hot sector, having a small float and the cost to borrow being very low which is indicative of nobody being masochistic enough to get annihilated shorting it, you can see that it should run strong. Maybe you can make some money and buy your gal that new-fangled doo-dad she's been bugging you about, or a project Mustang or some modifications for your current. Or whatever.

But generally I stay to indexes only.

The biggest most important rule… 1. Never sell (only portfolio drawdown through retirement)
2. Always be buying

That's a very long timeline from its biotech days. It has pivoted to photonics and hired on a lot of specialists in the field (Dr Frankel, Chelsea Voss from OpenAI, James Altucher etc).

Yes I was in JEPQ before and plan to return with at least a double position after this runs.

See if it were a guaranteed tank the cost to borrow would be insane; I remember when ASST was over 1100%

The ctb on this is only 16.5% Webull and 19.5% Etrade and getting lower every week which means the brokerages are begging kids to borrow it at a helluva deal since demand is so low but nobody is willing to get wrecked on a short position.

QCLS is starting to move up little by little so take another look; again NFA and do your own DD. Photonics/quantum sectors are heating up atm.

Well I was in JEPQ before which spits out a dividend check every month of between .75% and 1% which is decent; if you have enough in there you can just live off the divvies. Of course it lags the QQQ but the divvy increases with volatility. I plan to return there after this does its thing.
