Very good. Last question. Any issue with fit? Are they loose?
For some reason the right side is a little loose even though it is tightened about twice as much as the left side. Car is going to a shop soon for lowering springs and a H pipe so I’ll have them see if they can get it better or will try exhaust wrap in between to get it tighter. The problem is that the existing tips are only so long so depending on how long you want the new ones to stick out you might not have much to clamp on to before the tips go down to the smaller diameter pipe if that makes sense.

Only real fix is either as you said like wrap or shims, or, a sleeve with those dimensions just shorter. Because if you don’t shim and decide to just pull it out so it clamps onto the tip itself, it’ll be extremely long.

Sorry about your luck. However you did mention if they would fit a Dark Horse. That's all I talking about.
No. I was asking what the difference was from the ones OP linked, and the ones I linked. The ones I linked have a wider O.D, therefore it may rub against the valance. The dark horse has 4.5” tips. The GT valance cannot support it. That’s all I was asking and saying.

Interesting, I like it 👍
They are really nice. I was 100% sold until I noticed the clamp doesn’t really secure fully because the GT tip tapers off closer to the resonator.

Possible. I’ve seen 4.5 - 5. The problem is the GT’s valance can’t accept a 4.5+ without risk to it, because then it’ll be too close and may rub or tap it at high heat and melt it. 4 is kinda max on a GT active exhaust valance

I have to admit I love the tips on my Dark Horse the car looks great from the back. That's the view most see.

LMAOOO yeah. Dark horse tips are fantastic man. Sucks they aren’t bolted. They’re part of the resonator, so the only realistic way to get them is to either replace a GT’s entire resonator (axle back) with a dark horse’s, or, cut a dark horses tips off, and weld it onto the gt resonator.

Yea it’s weird my left side is rock solid and super tight but on the right it’s like the stock tips are shorter so I don’t get as good of a fit. I’m not worried about them flying off which was what I was worried about most. I ordered some exhaust wrap so I’ll give an update with that tomorrow.

They aren’t symmetrical. That’s 100% the problem. There are manufacturing differences from left to right, so that’ll definitely explain it. What’s your plan with the wrap? Do you put on the factory tip right where it narrows down then slide the new over it?
