Something to address rubber bushing deflection in the IRS. Steeda stop the hop kit or BMR cradle lockout.
The Steeda IRS Braces & Stop the Hop Kit have been proven time & time again ... you can't go wrong with Steeda - happy to help with any questions or pricing support from a forum perspective!

Best Regards,

TJ

Steeda components depending on the focus you want (drag, road race, etc), are from my point of view, the best products you can get.

Got camber plates, sway bars, stop the hop kit, and some other stuff, and improved 3s at the local track, way faster than any M4, Camaro. etc..

Hi guys, hope all is well and I hope I am posting this in the right place.

I have an s650 PP and I’ve already done some work to it. It does not have magneride, so I put the Ford performance track package on the car - M-FR3A-MAA.
This completely changed how the car felt and tightened things up a lot especially after I put wider wheels and bigger tires on it.

I had an SS 1le in the past, but because of a change in work I had to sell it. I came over to the s650 because I wanted to try something different and there is nothing like ringing this car out to redline, something the SS can’t compete with in my opinion.

I’m looking to get this car up to an SS 1le in terms of performance.

I also read the PP cars come with the DH sway bars, so not sure if I really need to change them out yet.

The car now feels up to snuff and I feel it could challenge an SS 1le on the track now, but wanted to see if I should do anything else?

That’s fantastic! Gonna be getting some camber plates and looking at the stop the hop kit. Also going to look into toe link bearings.

the car feels really tight with what I’ve done and feels comparable to my old 1le. I think the biggest difference to me is steering feel. The rack is super fast and responsive, but it lacks as much feedback as the ss1le

That's what all the reviewers say, too. Probably not much can be done about that.

I don’t think so either. It got a lot better with the steeda wheels and wider tires, so where it’s at now I find more than acceptable. At least I can actually feel somewhat of the limit now.

Something to think about, if the SS 1LE is only slightly behind the Dark Horse...

it's going to take more than what you've done so far. Vorshlag modified a 2018 GT quite a bit and it was still only as fast as a bone stock DH

Seems pretty disappointing considering all the work that went into that.

There was a video I saw on YouTube of someone running their PP 650 and it put up pretty decent times with just an apr wing and splitter. Can’t remember which track though.

It's almost as if Ford put a ton of knowledge, work, and testing into the Dark Horse
I’m not denying that, the car is awesome.
I would have got one if it were more within my price range.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the PP cars do share a lot with the Dark horse, minus some calibration work, tires, diff cooler, and “chassis tuning”

Yea, the PP2 cars are pretty good but not quite the level of the M1/DH

I also think people downplay the 650 a bit. When you watch a lot of the in depth videos, ford did a lot to make the platform better. I also had an s550 for a time and the 650 is an improvement all around.
