My wife's 24 GT is close to being finished. Bought it last fall. We have added a stage 2 whipple, whipple crusher open air boxes, upr dual oil return, borla s type cat back with quad tips, ford racing springs, stainless power long tube headers. Work was done at Brenspeed.

Next up wider wheels and tires, probably going away from black. Might be next summer though.

I like the stripes on the white and the personalized plate.

So did the wife want the Stage 2 Whipple and other modifications?

Has it been custom tuned, or is it running the Whipple canned tune?

Thanks, yes we both wanted it. She is coming from a 15 GT Premium, and a 99 GT convertible before that. Brenspeed in Indiana did the work and the tune. I do believe it is the Whipple tune.

The difference is loud pipes on a motorcycle will save your life. There are a whole lot of states where the cops dont care how loud your mustang is as ling as it has mufflers. Also why make the over generalization that because someone has a strait pipes Harley that they are a gang member?
Disagree. I commuted by (sport)bike for years in the Metro DC area. We had some of the worst traffic in the US during the rush (2.5) hours morning and evening.
It's often said to ride like you're invisible or ride like they're trying to kill you. I prefer the latter because frankly some drivers around DC are so clueless it simply cannot be carelessness. In all that time, regardless of the volume of my exhaust, the less than 2% who did hear me were right next to me and didn't care.

Having ridden for 35+ years, I do not believe loud exhausts save lives. Especially in modern cars with all the sound proofing and powerful sound systems. When car drivers hit a biker it's usually "WTF was that?" or SMIDSEY - Sorry Mate I Didn't See You.
And the number of 'tards who barely hear your siren behind them and do not have a clue where it's coming from was eye opening.
And, the absolute knobheads who, in an emergency, take their right fingers off the brake, and pull the clutch to rev bomb an errant driver instead of simply pushing a horn button deserve all they get. I relied on an airhorn
In my town it's a 90%+ certainty they are Angels, Mongrels or Black Power, possibly some Killer Bees thrown in. Most decent Harley owners are tucked up in bed after 9.00PM. and in their offices all day.
Once I was riding next to a cell yakker going about 50mph. After the the 2nd or 3rd time she drifted over the line next to me first into my lane than the other lane, I dropped from 6th to 1st gear. She gave me the look - the one you get from your wife when she's annoyed, reached over with her right hand, cell in her left hand, and rolled up her window. Not steering at all mind you.
At the next light, she almost rear ended the car in front of her, but never dropped that phone.

In the US, most of the Harley riders are RUBs - rich urban bikers. They're actually worse for noise because they want that "look" and "sound". And, at stop lights, you'll hear them revving their fuel injected HD, which is not going to stall if you leave it alone, but in between revs, you'll hear the 120w rms stereo with a decent subwoofer blasting out Barry Manilow tunes.

I live in a more rural area, and around 80% of the bikers I have come across ride harleys. The only bikes ive ever seen revving at the light were some dude in their early twenties on sport bikes. I ride a 2004 honda vtx 1300, its carbureted but I have never felt the need to rev it when stopped at a light its not a two stroke dirt bike lol.

Yes, there's the "car language" thing. Such as a car ahead slightly drifts toward the lane divider, that's because the driver is thinking of a lane change and they look towards that lane. Unconsciously you go where you look, that's your clue he might change lanes as you pass him.
It's similar to target fixation where racers follow each other off as they run off track.
You see it a lot in 'Ring vids too.
If I see anyone holding a phone, I stay as far away as poss.
The RUBs here tend to go for things like Squawking Budgie exhausts, rather than straight pipes.
