Mickey Thompson ET Street SS Drag Radial tires driven hard for about 30 min in cool temps - 45*F. Some launches an rolls off and on throttle on the way home from work.

Pretty much toast. Do you see those perpendicular markings in the tread? Those are the wear bars and need to be replaced when they are even with the tread. Supposed to have 2/32 of an inch of depth in the US.

Pretty much toast. Do you see those perpendicular markings in the tread? Those are the wear bars and need to be replaced when they are even with the tread. Supposed to have 2/32 of an inch of depth in the US.
These are drag radials. The wear bars aren’t significant. I’m more concerned with the crocodile skin looking rubber wear marks than the tread depth. These tires have 125 miles on them and 2 burnouts at the drag strip. They will heat cycle out of life before the tread depth matters.

My question is purely based on the heat stress that was placed on the tire last night when it was cold.

This does not apply to a drag radial

Pretty sure he's not driving in the rain on drag radials. This is a great example of if you dont know the subject matter, you dont need to respond.

Those look to have plenty of meat left on them to my eye.
