Anybody ever try taking the seatbelt warning label off your sunvisors?

It looks like crap when you have them down and I really don't need to read them ever again. Kinda like cutting the tag of your mattress. LOL

It seems like maybe it would start to rip or mar the fabric of the visor. I was going to try a heat gun maybe but don't want to toast the visor either. Any ideas?

If I was going to try and heat the sticker before a removal "attempt"; I'd try a hair dryer first an go to a heat gun if I had to.

An alternative to using the isopropyl alcohol used in the vid might be:

which I have successfully used on a number of adhesive residues over the years. Has a citrus smell to it and you can get rid of GG residue/smell with any number of other vinyl friendly cleaning/preservative products.

I used a heat gun to remove the warning label - naptha to remove the glue residue

I cut a piece of carbon fiber vinyl wrap - 4"x5" - for the cover.....
cost - "free", as I already had the wrap from another project

Thank you for this. I think this is the way I'm going to go. I really like how @jbrnigan got his to look and this company's material looks really good. I have to believe it will blend in well. I also am planning on getting a tint job and having the top of the windshield done so once it's tinted the visors should disappear almost altogether.
