I have a long scrape on my glove box door from the previous owner. Any suggestions on how to clean it up would be appreciated.

I’d try 303 Aerospace on it.

If it is like mine, the surface is pebbled in appearance. You cannot attempt to fix something like that without altering the appearance of it. Replacement is the best option. In the mean time, coatings like CarPro Perl and others can make the scrape less obvious. I'd also begin studying junk yards and parts houses for pieces. The 7G has been in production for a bit now. Recovered bits should be out there.

Years ago on a 1980 Corvette, plastic trim was either painted or plastic cast in the same color. I had replaced and painted several pieces parts that were broke from the factory or other wise. It was undetectable. I like the junkyard search idea, but check into whether the piece can be painted the exact color. Just an old fix idea.

The plastics in this car are as soft as butter in the summer sun

Chances are you are going to have to replace it and pray the color matches

If you are daring you can run a hair dryer over it and dab it with a scotchbrite pad to give it texture but I doubt it would work

If you blow air on this interior of the s650 it scratches, and as most have said replacing is probably the only sure option smh

Thanks for all the positive responses. I have decided to replace it and found a decent looking used on on line.

Textured surface cannot be polished out. your either replace them or you sand the whole surface and coat it with satin or matte clear coat and hope that new texture matches the other panels in the car.

That's like trying to repair a "popcorn" ceiling in a house, maybe even harder. Our previous house had that crap and I had to make a repair where the roof leaked and weakened/darkened the ceiling. I used regular drywall and then used the mud to make the popcorn on it with a wooden dowel, just dabbing it on there and leaving a small point.
