Nonsense.

GT Premium with Performance Package scheduled and in production this week.
Upon further thought the post I was referring to was about the Dark Horse handling package cars, which come with extreme performance tires.

Sorry to steer you wrong @exm

Yeah I wouldn't wait and reorder, either. I'm not sure how long that window of no summer tire cars is. I mean, they built mine on December 4. I expect it will still get built no later than March.

This is only for DHs that have the handling package.

Interesting - no updates since January 12.

Mine took about two weeks to ship from the In Production date. Also, it seemed like the updates were pushed to the website Monday morning. Check on Monday again.

No update, still says last update 1/12 and "In Production." 🤷‍♂️
There's been a supply and demand issues lately at Ford with the vendors but for my case from my job in the Transit side. Had a layoff not too long ago but got called back that it was canceled. Probably the same case that's been going on in Flat Rock or either that there might be blizzard that's been going around up north to the midwest possibly a busted water line. All I can say is expect some delays during severe winter season 🤷‍♂️

I ordered mine in September and it was ready at the dealership in 3 months, plus a few days. It seemed like it was taking 4 months for most people here who ordered in the summer of '25 but I've seen a couple who were quicker than mine.

The biggest variances seem to be in the time from when the order is made to when Ford schedules it for production. Also, the scheduled build week can sometimes get pushed back a week or two after the build is scheduled.

Thanks, I am really familiar with how Bowling Green process for allocations and building of Corvettes are down. Options and paint colors seem to contral batches of Corvettes build cycles. I would think almost the same with Mustangs as I notice dealership lot cars are almost all the same colors each month. Thanks

Scheduling normally occurs the 3rd week of the month. If you’re wanting the car to be built in May you’d have to make the scheduling in March. I’d recommend that you place your order in early March and hope that you get scheduled in March for May. Getting scheduled depends upon your dealer’s allocation. And could also be affected if all car components are available. If not, then next scheduling would occur in April for June builds.
