Dang, that sucks to hear! This is why new cars have warranties, though.

It may be hard to look on the bright side now, but be thankful this didn't happen out of warranty 5 years down the road. If you intend on keeping the car for awhile, it may be worth it to try and negotiate an extended warranty plan as well.

Keep us posted on what the dealership finds!

So what caused your car to do whatever it did? In Louisiana a lemon became a lemon after three unsuccessful tries at fixing something. My dad used the lemon law in that state successfully. Law may have changed though.

I can appreciate your frustration, that is a bummer. FWIW - In 1989 I bought an '89 Ford Taurus SHO - 3.0L DOHC - Yamaha engine. I picked it up from my local dealer, pulled out on the highway, went about a mile, 35-40 mph, and the engine threw a cam chain and destroyed the engine. Towed bacK to dealer and they offered to re-buy the car on the spot. After some discussion, I told them to put a new engine in it. It took a couple of weeks to source another Yamaha engine, but, in the end, it turned out to be a great sedan, great performance, fun to drive, I thrashed it for a couple of years and never had another issue. Good luck. Ford will "fix" it for you. There are tens of thousands of EB's traveling trouble free down the highways today.

The new Dodge Charger is now available in turbo inline six configuration and two doors. A bit bigger though and a little different looks.

I am a Mopar guy, but the Mustang was a better option for us. V8 plus better looks. Only way we'd consider a new Charger is if they put a Hellcat in it with AWD, but thats not what you're looking for here, I know.

I believe you can purchase the extended warranty and maintenance plan at any time After the sale.
I plan on keeping my 2024 GT Mustang.
I purchased the maintenance plan and extended warranty.
The maintenance plan you get free oil changes, wiper blades All the Filters, ,brakes etc.
Our 5.0’s have two expensive filters.
You can pay now or you can pay later
Please think about it.
I have a 2020 F150 Limited 2019 and 2020 Limited come with the same motor as a raptor, 3.5 HO.
I purchased the extended warranty and maintenance plan. I received many wiper blades, filters and last summer they replaced my brakes & the Cam Phasers?
I believe the cam phases are over $5000. It cost me nothing.

Yeah, I believe the OP said he already had purchased the extended warranty...at the time of the vehicle purchase I assume?

His post was more along the lines of a Yellowbullet Trash Or Be Trashed troll post to me. The engine 'blew up' and the entire car was trashed somehow ..

What was he expecting a certain dealership that shall not be named to actually do for him?

Didn't seem like he posted a coherent post about what actually happened, He just wanted to rant about being done wrong and railing against everybody that responded. .

Yeah, it seems a LOT of posts were deleted from this thread. Hope he figures it all out for himself and can find some peace.
