Yes, it is an amazing time. You’ll learn a lot and have a ton of fun. And Ford lets you beat the hell out of a DH that doesn’t belong to you!

hard to believe! I def plan on doing this, then playing on local tracks. Anybody played at Carolina Motorsports Park? Any others in the southeast? This one less than 2 hrs from me.

It's a great time, you'll learn a lot and end up leaving impressed with what the car can do.

Honestly, I wish they would drop out the drift brake portion, trim down the skid car time and make up the balance with track time because that really drives home the point of how good the car is capable of performing on track.

Rain or shine, you'll really enjoy it.
Spring for the 2nd day as well. It's worth it.

Per the staff there, less than 10% of owners participate. I went and it was a ball.
seeing that I want to take my new ride to tracks, I think I would benefit from it, and I am sure it is a blast

I bought mine used with like 800 miles on it. I do not think I am eligible.
I assume your DH is in your picture? Where was this taken? I see you are in Georgia, wondering where you take your car to have fun?

That was at Road Atlanta, in Braselton, Georgia. Due to sponsorship, it is now called Michelin Road Atlanta. It is constructed to FIA standards and can host international events. 2.54 miles with some very high speed sections. There are some large changes in elevation that make the track interesting, too.

I am not sure where you are in South Carolina, but the track is just off I-85 northeast of Atlanta, so it might be easy to get to.

They host a lot of track days. I attended with Just Track It.

Further south, in Bloomingdale (near Savannah) is Roebling Road, very close to the South Carolina border.

A search for HPDE days near you will show what is close. I have never been there, but Carolina Motorsports Park near Kershaw, SC (sort of between Columbia and Charlotte) hosts HPDE days.

Absolutely worth the trip. They do a great job and I learned a lot about how it handles. My wife joined me and they let her participate as well, taking turns on the different sections. Highly recommended. Skill levels in our class ranged from beginner to track-experienced.

If you have never ran on a roadcourse, it does not have to be the track attak. Check out a local track. We went to the track attak. It was fun, exhausting, and expensive due to flight, hotel, etc.

Since going we have taken private lessons at a road course. Much more relaxing. Only downfall is you are using your car. But as an amateur, there was no risk of me pushing it too hard or wrecking. $300 per person and takes about 3 hours.

The point is- get out there and do it.

When you register they ask for a VIN number. I would go to the website and see if you can register. Worth a shot.
