My wife's Nissan turbo Rogue didn't have an auto-dimming mirror, and I told the salesman that I'm not taking the car without it. They installed it while we did the paperwork! GlennA lot of cars don't have auto dimming mirrors anymore. It's and expensive and unless gadget.
Besides, it a Ford not a Lexus. 60k is the new 40k from 10 years ago.
thanks- It’s alright —- as you get older these things happen lol. That sucks. Hopefully a good lumbar pillow helps.
My wife has had 4-5 back procedures and she won't ride in my Stang!No- but my wife who has had two back fusions and an artificial disc inserted in her spine does.
What exactly is missing that you didn't know about when you bought the car?I bought my Mustang GT Premium for being a v8 convertible and the GT Premium being exactly that a GT. The v8 and convertible are great. The GT part is a long way from being a GT. GT means grand touring as such a certain level of creature comforts are expected. They have already been listed. I wouldn't have minded paying extra for them. I thought i got all of these things when I got the Premium model. I'm waiting now for the Premium XL Unlimited.
Maybe that model will be equipped as well as cheap Korean car.
This is happens when expectations collide with reality. The word premium can mean many different things. Ford clearly spells out the differences between a base model and a premium model. To the majority of Mustang owners the things you are missing are trivial, at best. But, hopefully, the things you like outweigh the things you don’t.I bought v8 GT PREMIUM convertible. I got all of the advanced creature comforts, i thought.
I am quite happy with the drive train even though it's a turd because I didn't get the 3.55 limited slip like you. It will never be as fast as you. Some of us would like to have an eight way power seat. I hope you never do. In my case, I set my oxygen concentrator in the back seat along with my cane. My wife has trouble flipping the seat back, to put items in the back seat.
My first surprise, my first fill up. I couldn't find the fuel door release button. I pulled away from the pumps and consulted the on-board manual. No help their. I got out and played with the door. I stand amazed by the non security. Even my low life Honda has a push button release.
As I mentioned before, I was surprised by the inability to switch between cruise control modes without stopping.
I couldn't believe a mirror wouldn't dip in reverse.
No front distance sensors. You have to be kidding.
I guess I've become spoiled by cheap non GT PREMIUM Japanese cars.
Ford has done many things well. Like brake hold, radio reception, decent ride, low cowl shake, water tight top, low wind noise are all first class.

I mean I get you brother - but I don't know why - by the same token - all the diehard Ford people keep making excuses for them not providing these features?I'm continually amazed by the amount of people here who bought a premium Mustang and expected it to be equal to a Lexus or BMW.
Oh but theres a big difference between making excuses and pointing out unrealistic expectations. Of course there can be improvements. I've never said otherwise. A front facing parking camera is an obvious one.I mean I get you brother - but I don't know why - by the same token - all the diehard Ford people keep making excuses for them not providing these features?
I love my car - but damnit - if Ford gave even a TINY LITTLE SH!T - they could have made it an AMAZING car.
Instead they did the bare minimum.
That said, I still LOVE my car - and can't imagine not having it.
I just think it's ok to also expect more.
We don't want BMW's... we want an American Car Company that gives 2 f's!
