Very nice! I have a quick question though. I have the Phase 2 as well. Do you really need the catch can? I mean, are you noticing build up in it that you have to remove regularly? My performance people told me it wasn't needed, so just curious on "real world."

I don't believe anyone answered your question. I question the knowledge of your "performance people" because they are absolutely wrong. At minimum, you need a dirty side catch can (passenger side). Personally, I would do both sides for good measure.

Without a dirty side catch can you will (no question) introduce oil back into the intake system.

Shame on your "performance people!"

In closing, you should find new "performance people".

I haven’t had an oil change yet and I only have 1400 miles on her so I haven’t checked yet.

You should change your oil ASAP. You need to get the factory 5w-30 out and replace with 5w-50 full synthetic which is what you need in a S.C. COYOTE.

If you read up a few more posts you’ll have your concerns answered and you’ll be able to sleep better tonight knowing she’s lubed up and ready to rock.

Clearly, I missed the oil change to 5w-50. Just trying to be helpful. And yes, I will sleep better tonight knowing she's ready to Rock! Rock on....

Haha. I’m just messing around. Good looking out but not my first rodeo. Been in the speed game since 1997.

Nice car.
I know it's different tastes and all that, but I'm not fussed on the illuminated vents in the grill RTR seem to have made a trademark.

There's some confusing differences. I always wondered at the reference to sportsmen slapping each other on the fanny. Fanny has a very different meaning here. As in, men don't have them.

Tow hook because race cars have them and posers love them. Also might need it when the cops catch up to me.

Ok, I see that part here:
https://zl1addons.com/collections/t...tang-dark-horse-feather-lite-stealth-tow-hook

How difficult is it to install? Does anything need to be cut, drilled, modified? Does it seem to be firmly attached so that the vehicle could be pulled out of the gravel/mud using this hook without anything deforming on your car?

Does it flap around in the wind?

I looked for installation instructions on the web site, but found nada.

This video starts with the entire front end bodywork removed from the car . . .

it’s secure and would be difficult to move with wind. Maybe 200 mph might move it in but it’s definitely not just dangling. I haven’t driven with it yet as there’s snow and salt on the ground in Ohio currently.
install wise you just use a socket or wrench to install the main shaft. It screws in counter clockwise. Then you adjust the hook and tighten it clockwise. Other than pulling the plastic cover off the front bumper that was it. The tow hook is better than the one that came with the car.
