updated review on my 2025 GT Premium Convertible:

—Mileage 12,000
—Delivery 4-18-2025; six months of joy
—Driving style: Mostly backroad cruising on trips
—Longest trip: 2-1/2 weeks; 4,300 miles
—Issues: NONE
—Average MPG: 28-29; decrease when top is down
—Top Speed: Classified
—Overall impression: FUN FUN FUN 😊😊
—Service: Routine maintenance by my dealer Phil Long Ford of Chapel Hills in Colorado Springs; they also did a top-notch job with the water intrusion recall (no water intrusion before or after; BCM no issue)

So much depends upon use of the right foot! A lot of my driving is at high elevations in Colorado and the western states. With the thinner air the car has to adjust, which lessens fuel per mile. Yes, decreases the power of the engine, but still plenty for this old guy!

18mpg. Must be more right foot or short trips.

And I get like 18 mpg . . .

Nice. I have 19300 miles since April 10 2024. It is both a daily and a weekend car.
What milage would you guys consider "old" or "I have to take it easy now" assuming all proper maintenance the right time ?

I will be a little over 11,000 by my 6th month mark (oct 25) so not too far behind you :like:
Same, no issues before recall, and Dealer did good job with it here in Lexington.
I am a little envious of your MPGs but I do drive her a lot of both city and highway.

YOU RULE. MINE IS A 2024, ALL OPTIONS, CONVERTABLE. I HAVE 2000 MILES, GARAGE KEPT, NEVER SEEN RAIN, HAND WASH ONLY. CLEAR UNDERCOAT, INCLUDING INSIDE FRAME. IMMEDIATE OIL CHANGE TO FULL SYTHETIC AT 1000 MILES. STORED IN HEATED BUILDING NOVEMBER THROUGH MARCH.
I NEED ANOTHER ONE TO DRIVE DAILY! ( I HAVE A 2024 ESCAPE AWD, AS AN EVERY DAY CAR).

I put almost 48k miles on my 2022 Ecoboost Premium Convertible 2-1/2 years. Loved it but wanted a GT to cruise all over the country, so ordered the 25 GT which was delivered in April. Mine is also in heated garage November through February, but out on the road the other months! I’m 76 and I’m pretty sure this one will outlive me, but I’ll enjoy cruising Colorado to Atlantic to Pacific to the Dakotas to Texas in the meantime. If not, there could be another in my future. Lots of fun in my earlier years riding motorcycles all over the country, but the Mustang Convertible still gives me that feeling of freedom, but I do like four wheels, a top for inclement weather, a heater, air conditioning, and the feeling of power now and then! 😊😊😊😊😊
