What is it with the designers tucking the wheels so far into the fenders? That wheel setup needs another .5” of negative offset with those fenders. Gotta love having to alter a $100k+ vehicle on day 1.
Agreed......definitely needs spacers........about 30 other cars I would buy first at 225K ......

It’s hard to tell, but the wheels had a noticeable amount of negative camber. Also, note these are $200k plus and are sold out at least for 2025.

Auctioned off to some joker and will be garage furniture.
Not those they weren’t up for auction, just display. Had models from previous generations too. There was a 2025 Super Snake that sold at auction for SS-R money.

S650 Mustang SS-R Shelby Super Snake looks great in person. IMG_2545

Personally for that kind of money, I’d rather have a GT40.

And so affordable, too! 😅
Well they sold out in a couple days, so...

We all got to pick what we want for the cost we can bear. It’s nice to see how far the platform can be taken, which eventually trickles down to the masses.

The problem I have with these SS-R’s is that they’re based on the Dark Horse and therefore I believe uses the 3160 Tremec and DH engine. There are better components out there for that price, such as the TKX or Magnum and the Aluminator.

It’ll be interesting to see what Ford plans on releasing to fill the gap in the upcoming months.

I can't argue with that.

The gtd is neither.
I was talking about the new Ford Performance version of the GT500 coming soon …

And if you think the Shelby SSR performs better than a GTD on a road course … I’m not mad at you for thinking this … I am mad at you for not sharing the source for whatever your smoking because that has to be some pretty good stuff to think the SSR will out perform the GTD : )
