The PDF and infotainment owner's manuals both have the wrong procedure for turning off the seatbelt reminder chime. That was copied from the S550 manual. The HTML online manual has the correct procedure: https://www.fordservicecontent.com/...A&div=f&vFilteringEnabled=False&buildtype=web.
Has anyone successfully implemented this?
It does not work on my dark horse.
Edit to add: because the manual is wrong.

1) set the parking brake
2) close the doors
3) press start button, but do not press the brake to enter accessory mode. Do NOT start the car.
4) wait for the seat belt status window to announce in the instrument cluster
5) do not wait, begin inserting and removing the seat belt from the belt clip of the seat you want to disable the alert for. Do this insert/remove 4 times ending with the seat belt out
6) if successful, you will see the seat belt idiot light flash. if you don’t, power off, open the door, close it and start again from step 3)

I was not able to get >1 seat done at a time, I’m pretty sure I was under the 30 seconds listed in the manual, so YMMV

HTH
also, always wear your seat belt! :-)

There’s always FORSCAN. I had to do FORSCAN on my Raptor after 3 tries myself, 2 tries by a Ford Tech and his senior tech.

I was able do it on my 2024 mustang GT. The directions from Ford has some wrong info.
Make sure:
*Set parking brake
*Transmission is in park
*Ignition is off
*Close all doors
*All seat belts are unfastened

1. Start engine.
2. Wait for the AIRBAG light to go off (NOT the seatbelt light) Wait 5 seconds.
3. Fasten then unfasten the seatbelt 4 times, ending with the seatbelt unfastened. This should be done at a moderate speed and done within 30 seconds
4. The seatbelt light should flash to confirm it worked.

I think the key is that it is the Airbag light that will turn off at the beginning of the process. I also had to watch for the airbag light to go off when I did this on my 2023 Ford F350 Super Duty.
Hope this helps!

If you spend any time doing anything motorsports related with your Mustang, you'd appreciate the ability to turn off the seatbelt nannies. Ex: Sitting in staging and not being able to monitor temps because you got out to adjust tire pressures and now the fasten seatbelt reminder is stuck on your dash even though you belted back up. Was one of my biggest annoyances with the digital dash of this car. Thankfully we are able to turn it off and use our big brains to put our belts on without it.

Yes, u remove it when u insert your seat belt. It’s a solution for heavy packages or a pet in the passenger seat triggering the seat belt alarm. It doesn’t solve the problem of having to continually scroll off the dash seat belt reminder too view other data. I thought the beeping was the concern.
