1. After hitting max defrost it takes 15 seconds for the fan to come on

2. Auto high beams only work after 25mph. My truck is 20mph

Ford's auto high beams suck compared to Toyota auto high beams. That's quite noticeable.

In what way?

My observation is that the Fords and Lincolns are the first to dim and last to activate. Are you saying that all the high beaming folks whose modern cars dim seconds later are Toyota drivers ;-)?

The first one is because it's trying not to blast cold air at you, assuming this is while the car is still cold. The second one I've never noticed, but the only time I've needed the high beams to come on for me was when I was tearing up a backroad late at night. 🤷‍♂️

My observation has been that I need to blast my high beams at other drivers to get them to turn theirs off... can I have the drivers in your area?

Unfortunately most of the creature comforts and safety features are substandard compared to most other vehicles in this price point. Especially the seat cooling fans are crazy loud.

Huh. I'd ask Ford or a dealer if that's normal.

I'd assume it still is, maybe it's trying to prime the heating element. Unsure - I don't want to give you the wrong information, so I'll stop there.
Wife said the same thing, they do not want to blast you with cold air.

No, you said that, not me. Toyota's turn on high beams at more useful times and cut off when they should. Ford's system acts like it's a sleep most of the time. No need to get snarky about it.
