Custom Tray in front of shifter-any ideas

Does anybody know of any aftermarket parts to cover this easily scratchable tray in front of the shifter?

billet maybe?

Apparently the 24 and 25 are different due to the charging pad removal on the 25.
Anyone have any ideas of someone doing custom billet ones?

I installed a cell phone charger in that spot. Ordered it from Temu and it works well and looks decent imo

Whoa! Really? Why would they remove that? I have a charging pad on mine. Not that I buy fancy phones but my chick can wirelessly charge her phone when she rides with me.

Either they removed it for 2025 because they wanted to save more money, or there were too many complaints of phones getting hot on the charger and Ford figured it was more trouble than it is worth.

But, think how good you will feel knowing that your 2026 Mustang purchase with less features and costing more money than the 2 previous model years will help subsidize Ford's money losing EV program !

I asked my PPF guy if he could wrap the tray and he said it wouldn’t turn out well.

since I am installing the billetzwork weighted coyote knob (matte black) with the reverse lockout (shiny black), this week, I think I’m going to try and match that Theme.

i was thinking black billet cnc’d with a 5.0 engraved and felt on the bottom.

i could just take the tray out and give it to a cnc shop and have them build one and shorten it 1/8th of an inch all around for an easy fit.

thoughts….anybody ever had a custom one made ?
