My car might soon be legally a lemon, anyone know what happens if I modified the car?

GM bought back my Corvette, and we still ended up in court and my car had zero modifications. Hope your experience with Ford is better than my GM experience. I paid cash for the car, so despite me not being able to drive it, I still had to insure it while it sat at the dealership waiting for the replacement to arrive.

But did you have an option to take the car back with a settlement offer? Even though it was sitting there for that time frame. After that did you have a choice to take it back?
Yes, my experience with Ford was very smooth , very surprised. I contacted a lawyer just in case, and I didn't have to even mention that. I did tell the rep at ford that I really need to be made whole again since I cant even have the choice of taking the car back esp with all I put into it. She said she'll see what she can do based on that....
Again, there was probably something going on with my situation that I do not even know about. I didn't even ask, I felt dont mess with a good situation.

I didn’t want the car, it broke on the way home from buying it, and was towed in 7 more times in 3 weeks.
