Apologies if this has been posted already:

I hear that he has been in a couple of races before.Very cool. That Max guy is a pretty good driver.

I don't believe this is a production car, it looks similar to the mule that was running around the 'ring awhile back, and it's being used by Multimatic to collect data to refine the car, which wouldn't make a ton of sense if this was a final production model or a customer car. This vid was probably shot months ago and is just being released now.![]()
Such an expensive car and the panel gaps are horrendous.
I can't understand why Ford gets away with this over and over again.
Same thing with the first pictures of the S650, full off panel gaps.
I remember people on the forum were saying "It's not a production car yet" or "it's not a Porsche".
Well, here we are, thousands of production cars that have exactly the same panel gaps.
The guy who started the thread even got banned when he stood his ground against a large group of people who used arguments like "The car isn't in production yet".
The guy that got banned on this forum was right and now Ford goes on with the GTD and does exactly the same thing with a 300k car.
He didn't get banned for commenting on the panel gaps, he got banned for subsequent behaviour.![]()

It even mentions the data gathering near the start of the driveI don't believe this is a production car, it looks similar to the mule that was running around the 'ring awhile back, and it's being used by Multimatic to collect data to refine the car, which wouldn't make a ton of sense if this was a final production model or a customer car. Someone analyze Jay Leno's review which is one of the first actual production GTD's and see if it has these same panel gaps.
He was one of the few that said it while many others were very negative at his opinion. He didn't get banned for commenting on the panel gaps, he got banned for subsequent behaviour.
Erm not really. My car panel gaps were all absolutely fine and as has been pointed out the GTD in the video is a pre-production car that has literally been thrashed around test tracks. He was one of the few that said it while many others were very negative at his opinion.
And here we are now. He was right all along.
Your argument is exactly the same as what others did.Erm not really. My car panel gaps were all absolutely fine and as has been pointed out the GTD in the video is a pre-production car that has literally been thrashed around test tracks.
So no he wasn't right all along. Even if he had been correct his comments became excessive and nothing to do with panel gaps!
I didn't actually say that. I said my car was fine which doesn't mean other cars don't have issues but I have not seen that.Your argument is exactly the same as what others did.
"My car is fine so there is no issue".
Literally 50% or even more had bad panel gaps.
I did not costum order mine, because when looking at dealerships, I had to skip a huge amount of Mustangs because of the panel gaps.
I searched for months, until I found the car that I wanted with the spec that I wanted that had no significant panel gaps.
All of them had the hood cone issue, or the headlight gap, or the trunk gap. Literally the sams issues that were on the S550.
Out of all cars I still couldn't find a perfect one, so I took one that had the well known, rear side panel gap, which is not that bad.
Yes you did.I didn't actually say that. I said my car was fine which doesn't mean other cars don't have issues but I have not seen that.
However I'm simply not going to get into an argument about panel gaps on a thread about the GTD being driven! If you want to have a moan start another thread on panel gaps.
Unfortunately I haven’t been fortunate enough to touch one in person lest we forget pictures are perspective restricted![]()
