Mississauga Ontario here. 2025 Dark Horse 6sp HP Hope to do some track days.
Did this website lose posts during a maintenance window?

I'm pretty sure I asked "Hey, was in Mississauga a couple of weeks ago and saw a Blue Ember DH. Was that you near CHUCKS ROADHOUSE in the West End" and you answered "Might have been me" and then when I got home from work. Nadda.

I may do some HPDE type stuff later in the year when it's cooler. Trying to do track days in a 38C day with a supercharged car is asking for trouble.

Where did you get your supercharger put on and what was pricing like??
Blackstock Ford in Orangeville did my Whipple Stage 1.

As for pricing; I bet it's a lot higher now. I ordered mine January 30th.

I've heard of a few others who went to Blackstock for their Whipple purchase/install. Here in Ottawa, they want roughly $34,000 taxes and labour in for the stage 1 through the dealership. I could go to a very repubtable installer local for a stage 2, and pay just about half that installed. Or, head to Blackstock and have them do it while visiting my brother for a stage 1

Yeah, Blackstock is faaaaaaaaaaaar cheaper than that. I paid just over 16k (installed).

Blackstock did a great job over the course of 3 days; the routing and install is clean and it works without any problems. Gotta give Kyle props as he knows his stuff.

16 installed sounds fantastic. They were trying to sell me the stage 1 kit for $24,000 on its own. Then labour was 22 hours at $250/hr. So another $5,500 in labour. Plus tax.

I'm also curious to see and hear your thoughts on the Magenride Steeda springs. I'd like to drop my ride max an inch, but don't want to sacrifice too much comfort with going aftermarket springs

That is nuts....

Kit was $13793.10 (at the time) and labour was 15-16ish hours and came out to $2693.92. As I said, they know their stuff.

I don't have any discomfort at all. You do have to watch out for the roads (at least in the GTA) cause if you hit a pothole with these, and a 30 sidewall, you are going to hear some loud noises but on smooth streets it glides along just fine.

As you don't have a DH I think you'd be okay on the front end. There are places I can't safely drive into in the GTA on my current 19" tires and Steeda Sport Progressives. The front of the car is just too low. May go back to a 20" in springtime like my photoshoot from October of last year show. We'll see.

I just read through your build page. That's some awesome work and documentation you've done on the car. At some point I'd like to do the MGW shifter as well with the Billetworkz shift knob. From looking at your pictures, it looks like it would be wise to stick to a 19" wheel if I do decide to lower it. I wonder how it would be with the stock wheels. I really do enjoy the stock black PP wheels that came with my GT

Thanks for keeping us updated. I’m going into a local dealership today for my first oil change at 1800km. Next up is a track day at TMP. Any other GTA members interested?

You should see my Build Bag... I have all the records, receipts and work done on the car. When I sold my 21 GT Premium to a private buyer I was able to basically hand him a bag with the entire lifecycle of the car, parts, warranty work, supercharger install, etc. etc. etc.

The pics in that thread (in the first post, at the top) those are 20" Velgen VF10s and the car had been lowered already by that time. 0.8" all around. Going to the 19" made things low.

High Level, AB here!

Not too be confused with High River, AB or High Prairie, AB haha High Level is about 200k South of the NWT border or around 1000 miles North of the US/CAN border. Fun fact: I live further North than 99.7% of Canadians

2024 Dark Horse w/ HP 6spd R0147
I’ve got 18k on it and just put my 3rd set of tires on recently. I like to have fun ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Full Xpel wrap. The rear quarter panels are basically getting sandblasted with these sticky tires so the wrap was a great idea haha
