Is Steeda making there own tune or just reselling someone elses?Plenty of stuff coming - the point of the article is that we are out there testing on the track, pushing the limits of the tune outside a dyno, to ensure it's going to hold up to both the demand of the track & the street.
Plenty more testing & results coming down the pipeline.
I'll share with the team for ongoing feedback.
Best,

Just went on website, $1465 for a Palm Beach dyno tune with tuner and credits and 93/E85 for DH... I love Steeda and have been super loyal spending thousands of $ over the years but you guys may of lost your ways here if this isn't a mistake... wow
I was on Steeda website. They sell the PBD and others tunesAre you looking at the power adder or NA package?

They sell two versions of the tune oackageI was on Steeda website. They sell the PBD and others tunes
Thats because Steeda only lists the device HP Tuners MPVI3 which is about $100 more than the HP Tuners RTD+4 from PBD. The MPVI3 has more functionality that allows you to use VCM Editor and VCM Scanner to modify. The RTD is really just a delivery device that is used with the TDN app for Tuners to deliver their tune to you. In other words, if you want to be able to make your own adjustments and modifications, the MPV13 is the better choice. If you want your tuner to make all adjustments in the tune, the RTD+4 is cheaper and does just that. I am not sure about what is allowed with a tuner's tune file for your vehicle when it comes to the MPVI3 but I am pretty sure that big name tuners don't want customers seeing (and sharing) the information within their tune files.Ok, my mistake.
It’s $1033 for E85&93 + tuner + credits
Still seems like almost 10% over what buying direct is

You'd have to reach out to HP Tuners or Steeda. I've never used the MPVI3 with the TDN App. Don't quote me but I don't think that you could with the MPVI2 but that functionality may have been added with the MPVI2+/3. I would verify with Steeda before purchasing for sure.Ok, then that makes sense.
thanks for explaining.
I like what you’re saying on flexibility of the device. My question would be , can you also flash the tune via Bluetooth and app without a laptop using the MPVI3?
