Does our Mustang have a stamped VIN number somewhere hidden in the car?

I can only find the VIN number as a sticker, but not stamped on the metal.

I need to locate the VIN on the metal for inspection purposes.

Why can't they use the Vin at the bottom of the windshield?

I feel it's because the buck tags can be swapped with another. Door jamb stickers can be replaced or altered.

Depending on the country and their customs laws, the engine stamp could be yet another source of documentation, another correlation reference. On the Coyote, the VIN is stamped on the lower left corner of the engine block, in the back near the oil pan sump.

Many countries though, their ultimate source is a physical chassis stamp; that's what they consider the true VIN of the vehicle.

The VIN is marked in several places and some of them are extra hard to find. Some are obvious. There are some hidden in really good places. I know this because I am the one that set up the dot peens, scribes and lasers that marks most of Ford's vehicles and parts.

Wow. And I thought the DMV was a pain in the ass.

Can you verify if this is also on the S650.
My garage says my car doesn't have a VIN stamped on my car and I have to pay them loads of money so that they can do that for me.

I have a feeling that they want to scam me.

Can you maybe verify if this is also for the S650? The link you posted are imported cars to Australia. It could be that it happened after the import.

I want to know if US cars have this.

My garage says I don't have a VIN stamped on my car and I don't believe them since they ask a lot of money to put a VIN on my car which probably already have one.

Can confirm mine has vin just under driver seat, has piece of carpet cut, if you lift that is where vin is..
