I grew up on the old bay. Pasadena/Arbutus. Moved south a piece back and found a guy the next town over that gets live blue crabs. Mudbugs we have overnighted.

Yeah and MD is the best place for them.
I remember being able to buy a bushel of blue crabs and a case of Bud for under 40 bucks.

Local seafood place sells picked Jumbo Lump for $45 lb. Good for 4 decent crabcakes. Pickin is work….lol.

Around these here parts we catch 'em with a string tied to both a stick and piece of hot dog. Crawdads latch onto the hotdog and you slow transfer them to a bucket. Crawdad fishin'. Then you make a crawdad omelette for breakfast, with a side of cornbread and drippins'.

I love most seafood, but the prices here are mental now. Bluff oysters cost me $43 for 12.
Crayfish ( lobster) don't ask, get a mortgage.
Paua (abalone) ditto.
You wouldn't think we're surrounded by some of the best fishing grounds.
