The screen is affixed with 3M tape. I drove my sister out to dinner for her birthday this past weekend. By the time we reached the restaurant, I had to introduce her to the wet wipes in the center console so she could get her fingerprints off the screen. She just had to play with the music, and swipe the map back and forth following the route the whole way. If it wasn't her birthday, I'd've slapped her hand away.

Good looking car except for the red badges and coyote stickers
The idea behind the Race Red pony badges was to compliment the "splash of red" theme going on with the brake calipers and the seatbelts (not as visible in my pictures). I would've preferred traditional CHROME ponies, but what Ford calls chrome nowadays is more like a polished aluminum, which I don't care for much. I couldn't get them chromed or chrome powder coated because they're plastic. Does anyone know where I could get plastic flash chromed at a reasonable price? I went with the red instead of waiting to find a way to get them chromed because I was on a time crunch for the wrap work, and since they would have the grill off, they could do the pony swap at the same time. But yes, the front pony is a little garish, and I would replace it with chrome even though it means taking off the grill again. The rear pony would have to match, but I think the red is actually pretty good there against the tail lights.

I love my coyote decals, and have had a lot of approving comments on them. Those stay!

Glad you love your car. Just different opinions

That instrument cowl is a very expensive, but good looking piece. My daughter wants one on her DH. The stitching would have to match. They are available in many colors of stitching. Nice car.
I had an early foot in the door, which was good for me as far as price goes. But as a consequence, I had to settle for black stitching instead of matching white. :frown:

This is the one I settled on from Amazon. (I actually bought 3 different brands of blue and picked the best match). Super cheap and easy, and it really makes the interior pop.

I've always called this "piping", so I probably used that as part of my search terms. (That box was juuuuust enough for both doors... I probably had 2" to spare).
I like the blue trim. Would that be too blue for vapor blue exterior?

I think a silver pony in the grill would be better...just my opinion. The rest of the car is nicely done!

Yep. If you're going to put a black pony in the grill no one can really see it. Might as well not have one. Make mine sapphire clear coat so the chrome helps it stand out.

I actually just located a place that'll put a (protected) chrome finish on plastic for me. I figure another month and a half to two months to ship my ponies, get 'em chromed, get 'em back, then get them installed. I'll post pics when done, naturally.

Mine is a VERY blue blue. If you're trying to MATCH the Vapor, I'd find a different color. It all depends on what you're trying to accentuate. Another route is to find a match for the OEM accent color (space gray in my case).

Search Amazon for possibilities. It's pretty cheap, so you can get several flavors and return the ones that you don't like. Read the descriptions carefully... I got some that were actually metallic. (Nothing wrong with that... it just wasn't what I was looking for).

As I mentioned before, try the word "piping" in your searches, and perhaps "upholstery", "automotive" or "boat". Once you start seeing the right stuff, they often show links to similar items, so you should have a lot of choices.

I would assume ETSY probably has sellers as well. (Or try your local fabric store. Ask an employee for help and show them my pictures).
