Knock noise at startup

Hello everyone,

first time posting here. I was wondering if any other s650 owner has this problem. Almost everytime i start the engine, immediately after, a KNOCK noise comes from underneath the car. Not sure what is it and im kinda worried. Hope you can help.
2024 GT, 10spd

I have the exact same problem. And some times even more noise and the car moves back anf forth.

Mine does jerk at startup in Park, in Neutral with No bakes applied, it will jerk 5 seconds later.

I only get a clink/knock underneath the rear passenger side once I put in drive?

I went to dealer they told me it's normal and don't worry about it

Hello,
Is there any updates on the topic? Mine does it only if I re-start the car within a few minutes after shuting off the engine. But if the car was off for few hours it starts normal without any issues.

Hi. looks like i’ve got same problem as you have. After start up, these noise and shock comes immediately from underneath the car. Wonder where it’s comming from and why these issues are happening. Just guessing it’s from the transmission and feels like it isn’t normal.

That's a different issue and i had the same make sure you have the latest updates and put some milleage on the car. Mine disepeared after 1500 miles. All 10r80 have this people with a f150 complaining about the same and Ford called it normal. It's most of the time after a good drive when transmission is hot you park it and after 5-15 min you restart the car you get this. (My idea it's pressure builduip) Leave the car for one hour or cold and it doesnt do it.

This flange will fix the issue of a knocking noise underneath when you decelerate or accelerate. I 've had both issues since one month after I bought by Dark Horse. Replacing a new flange has fixed the issue of a knock noise when accelerating or decelerating, and the noise has been gone since I replaced the part, for 9 months now. But the issue of a knock noise when startup warm is still with me though.
