I took my 2025 GT Premium Convertible Molten Magenta Metallic on a 3-day cruise Friday-Sunday to enjoy a window of beautiful spring weather in Colorado and to do a nice break-in for the car
  • 1100+ miles
  • Mostly 2-lane roads in the mountains, valleys, and canyons
  • Speeds varied continually so great trip for a good break-in
Car performed flawlessly and it was so much fun! It now has almost 1,300 miles and I’ll be getting an oil/filter change early next week (rain/snow arriving for the next several days — springtime in the Rockies at 8,500 feet). I’m old-school on break-in and the first oil/filter change. I put almost 48k miles on my 2022 Ecoboost Convertible — really liked that car, but the S650 GT is a nice step-up and the instant power makes for a great driving experience in the mountains.

Man, what an uplifting post; Ford should figure out a way to use your first photo in an ad of some sort! Pure joy!!

Your car is nothing short of stunningly gorgeous! That bronze package against the magenta just sets the whole car on fire. I have a rapid red GT convertible with the black package that has a similar effect. Started to post it here but didn’t want to appear to crowd in on your post.

With all the negative Nellie’s posting stuff they don’t like or find wrong with their new Mustangs it’s so refreshing to see a post like this one. Keep up the good work!

EBs are really nice but it's hard to beat the excitement and soundtrack of a GT
That molten color is pretty dang awesome
Paddles, you’re not kidding. The sound of a top down GT convertible with Active Exhaust in track mode is something that cannot be described. You just need to experience it.

That's a beauty. Love love love that color. And I 'm a fan of the Bronze package as well. Nice going!

You are so right. I read a post from a guy that could have phrased it better but i understood what he meant and another member lambasted him with several posts that were out of line and just rude. I love my s650 and those that don’t like theirs should stop complaining and do something about it. On a side note, I had a little race with a z06 the other day got him off the line and lead for about 200 yards. That’s a win in my book!

Have around 2300 happy miles on my '25 GT Premium, Convertible, 6 speed like yours in Molten Magenta. I'm still a big fan of the rapid red and would have preferred it, but the MM is growing on me. I can look fondly on my '24 F-150 in rapid red if I need a paint fix! LOL. I had Ford change my oil at 1300 miles. I like that my dealer has a Quick Lane and I can watch the lube techs work through a large window in the customer lounge. The techs seem to be very good. I'm in and out in less than an hour for a reasonable charge.

Nice car, nice scenery. Not meaning to one up you but I can take my own oil, filter, and stand by the tech and talk with him while he does an oil change. Only place I've ever even heard of that. They do good work. I'll be moving if I live that long so that will go out the window.

I park mine as far out in the parking lot of the stores as I can and then turn around several times to look at it as I'm walking to the store. Yep.....I like mine.
LOL, I thought I was the only one doing that! Always park as far from the entrance as possible. Bonus: it also cuts down the risk of getting dents from all those “as close as I can” parkers.

Beautiful car, scenery and the smile in the face of the OP says more than thousand words. Congrats on your upgrade!
