Ford Perfomance Tie Down Kit with Steeda Stop the Hop Bars

I have the steeda stop the hop kit on my car and I just bought the tie down kit and there is some overlap and before I cut the bracket, I wanted to see if you guys have done the same and / or if I should do anything different.

Make a 3/16 thick spacer for the one end and mount the tie down under the chassis brace.

I was reluctant to mount under the chassis brace as it was made to fit flush against the body, so i ended up just grinding off part of the corner on each side, then add a spacer under the strap bracket. fits great. thanks for the ideas !
