Got denied for a GTD. What's the next regular high performance Mustang coming down the pike?

Thought I had a legit shot at it but it wasn't meant to be I guess. What's going to be the next high performance variant coming down the Flat Rock line? Someone please say Boss 429...

By the way that's a nice stable you have. Is that a P car, the 23 GT3? That alone should convince them to sell you the GTD.

I keep hearing GT500. But I do not think anything is confirmed. I highly doubt they do a 429.

They’ve already put it out there… a mustang sedan and a mustang “raptor” off road.

I’m sure after the raptor mustang is out there will be rumbling for a raptor R mustang… with the predator drivetrain.

Honestly, I doubt that other than a four door Mustang we won't see a GT500. First, the price of the GT500 will be beyond what most people can afford. IMHO, I would buy a new Corvette over an overpriced GT500,
Ford will zero in on an ECOBOOST 4-door to compete with the cheaper foreign labeled sedans out there.
If the political environment doesn't change, we will see the malaise era of vehicles upon us again.

Thought I had a great shot at it. Over the years I’ve had two ‘70 Boss 302’s, a S197 B302. , a ‘13 B302 LS, a ‘16 GT 350 (seized engine in that one) then a replacement ‘17 GT350, a ’17 Focus RS, ‘17 Raptor, Explorer Sport, First Edition Bronco and a ‘23 Raptor R.

I think my application just got glossed over for others that had videos attached and those involved in racing, you tube, insta, celebs etc. There were three tiers of responses and the response to my application landed at the bottom (we”ll keep it on file) and not even on the 2nd tier which is the priority waitlist.

I mentioned my GT3 when I applied, stated that I always wanted a Mustang that could stand toe to toe in performance, quality, fit and finish to Porsche etc. None of it mattered so I’ll keep what I have and wait for the .2 992 that I’ve lined myself up to order when the time comes.

Rather see you get on over some of those influencers. I would like to see a real comparison between the GT3 and GTD from a owner.

Sorry you didn’t get a GTD allocation man. For what it’s worth I think the whole allocation thing that some manufacturers do stinks. But since it’s limited production there would be some “allocation” process anyways it would just be unofficial and they would go to those willing to pay the highest ADM.

I am very curious what the next special edition stang will be as I’m hoping to be a buyer. Had to sell my 5.0 a couple years back and I miss it. Want to add a stang to go with my Bronco
