Thought my base model ecoboost coupe had adaptive cruise control. PRetty sure my car is 100a. The left side of the steering wheel has 7 buttons. To turn the cruise control on, it's the buttons all the way on the left. Only 1 button all the way to the left. Assuming it does not have it. Thought all mustangs had it in 2024.

Also when I pass a little on the close side, the collison warning comes on. Haven't had the brakes hit yet. I am assuming it will. Or is this just a warning message.

From my understanding the only way you have ACC is if you opted for the Ford 360+ Copilot (a monthly subscription required as well). My 400a base gt premium doesnt have it.

Thought I was out of luck. Work to home is a little over 50 miles. Its only ecoboost, but it is real easy to do 80-85 without knowing it. I literally do 90% of my driving with cruise on.

I have a 2024 GT premium and it has Adaptive CC on it. Works well. It tells you on the dash when it is on. Should have a lane keeping button on the steering wheel. Pressing it gives you a message its on. Did not have to sign up for anything for it to work.

ACC is an option, it's not standard on the base Ecoboost.

Adaptive cruise control will automatically lower the speed and automatically return the speed to the preset / selected speed. The acc function happens before collision alert and if functioning correctly will prevent a collision alert (unless another driver dives into the gap - the predetermined following gap)

Its not an option on the base ecoboost.
Only an option on the premium versions of ecoboost/GT but I think it is included with that tech pack.
I love the adaptive cruise on my old 2016 GT/CS. Works excellent and I cant wait to try it out on the S650.

ACC is not all it’s made to seem. My base GT doesn’t have it but my wife's Toyota XLE Cross does and it can be annoying at times.
For example, you’re driving on a two lane road and the vehicle in front of you signals a right turn and thus moves right. Normally you would just slow a bit and keep going knowing the vehicle will soon be out of your way, but the ACC beam is so wide it picks up the vehicle, jumps on the brakes and almost stops. Your logic says this isn’t necessary and in future you compensate by moving left half into the oncoming lane to avoid the braking. I’ve had many times when the Toyota ACC jumps into action when it’s not necessary.

I actually prefer not having it on the my GT.

My S650 has Co-Pilot 360, which includes ACC. There is no subscription required. The only thing it doesn't have is Blue Cruise, which is the biggest piece of Co-Pilot 360+. I have Blue Cruise on my '21 F150, and that requires a subscription.

You can also very lightly depress the accelerator and that will override the ACC slowing down.

yeah, I guess I didn’t pay enough attention to the option list on my ’24. My saleslady knew only money and nothing about the car - I mean nothing, not even what buttons did what. So as I’m winging my way back home 2.5+ hours, that was nice.
