We might get one in the future. There has already been one DH Convertible that was auctioned off for charity by Ford.
Production should be easy as well since the DH is just a slightly modified GT. Besides, I doubt that we'll see a GT500 convertible ever again. The S550 GT500 had too much power for the convertible chassis and would literally tear the car apart. As seen in many supercharged GT builds....

Ford could easily offer a convertible next to the GT but the question is weather it is financially feasible. A 700+HP is not going to happen and is there really that much demand for a DH (a track focussed GT) convertible?

Hah! It would certainly have a high price: the convertible top is a $5500 option on the Ecoboost and GT. That puts the Dark Horse Premium Convertible at $68430 MSRP.
