Is my GT engine missing a strut bar?

The brace makes checking the oil a pain in the butt.
True that, i find it very unpractical… i was thinking am the only one suffering from it.

True that, i find it very unpractical… i was thinking am the only one suffering from it.
It has also been reported it can present an accessibility issue if you add a catch can.

Yeah. Emptied my catch can this past weekend and was cussing trying to get the holes lined up and the bolt started to reinstall the can after draining with the strut brace blocking.....well.... everything!. Worth it not to have that mess go through the intake, but what a PIA!

Out of curiosity, how much did you get and are you more engine or foot brake dominant?

Out of curiosity, how much did you get and are you more engine or foot brake dominant?
Over 800 miles I got out about a teaspoon of what looked like stained engine oil mostly. I'm more foot brake dominant unless I'm on a steep grade, then it's all engine braking. Usually I coast in neutral.

Ah ok that makes sense. I saw a couple of pictures online of GT engines and seems like I am missing the k brace. I am going to go back to my dealership and see what they say.
Do you have the performance package on your car? If not I don't think you get one.
